mpdfish 1
Is there any info on what exactly all the tools are for that come with your Saiga. I cant figure out what the screwdriver looking thing is for and what exactly all the holes in the carrying tube do.
Desolo 55
The screw driver slides into the metal tubte from the side, ala a "T" handle so you can use it.I dont quite rember exactly whats all in it...
Deadeye 325
The punch shaped thing is for removeing the pins in the bolt. the screwdriver thing on the other end is for adjusting the front sight post
beefcakeb99 572
I use the screwdriver t handle to remove both handguard screws. It also helps reach those tight spots with a rag or swab. The tube slot is also for the gas tube takedown lever.
Bridis 319
One of the tools is a punch that can be used to drive out/in pins for the mag release, gas block, etc. or press the gas plug detent pin. The other thing can be screwed into a cleaning rod to hold a cloth for cleaning the barrel
Jpanzer 1,265
I asked the same question when I got my S12. The good folks on here directed me to a page I can no longer find... however, YouTube is now your friend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh2VORpYRMA Enjoy...
ewoketeer 35
Where would one obtain such a kit for the S12? I didn't have one in the box. It was acquired at a gun show several years ago... Edited April 21, 2011 by EWOKETEER
Jpanzer 1,265
They can be bought on almost any web site selling gun parts. A standard AK cleaning kit is essentially the same thing...
