bigmegina 3
went to the range today.i have had a 3 position gunfixers plug since they came out.gun was spotty with low brass.sent bolt to pauly to polish it,also opened up the ports.gun ran well.decided to get a autoplug to move up to the new technolgy.loaded a 5 rounder with the dreded universal bulk pack.the gun fired and ejected but the shells looked like they were not ejecting far.turned the plug 1/2 turn in.bulk pack ejected well.now the test.loaded a 10 rounder with 00 buck, universal, fed bulk pack.ejected everything well with no stopages.this autoplug works well for me.no more turning the plug, which i like.
timy 1,185
Excellent! I'm thinking of purchasing one myself and it's good to know yours functioned as designed.
Lidocaine Looney 26
I haven't mixed and matched ammo yet, but I did install it and do a drum dump with it yesterday to get it dialed in. Nothing but grins so far..
evlblkwpnz 3,418
I have two of them and I really like them. It is nice to not bother with adjusting the plug for each particular round.
dyogi 6
It's like the Showtime Rotisserie by RONCO . . . "Set it and forget it!" I've fired a drum mixed with the cheapest Wallymart ammo that I could find all the way to slugs and no jams at all even when fired unsupported from the hip.
Vulcan 14
Huh. I've not made up my mind on an autoplug yet. But I am interested... I really appreciate the candid feedback for and against it that I've seen on the forum. Perhaps I'll order one later this week.
ShadowFire 220
Nice. Yeah opening the ports up really helps it seems. I had to do the FTE Gas Block mod on mine, then install it and tune it. I really like mine, if I ever do another S12 it's the Autoplug for me.
20nickels 21
Love mine. It's kinda heavy in the hand but not noticeable on the gun. Other things overlooked about it; It will not help an undergassed gun. It may help an "overgassed gun". If using ammo with enough oomph to open the valve, theoretically your gas system should run cleaner.
waltham_41 52
I am very satisfied with mine,,, have done a couple of drum dumps with no problems, get it set and then its fire and forget. Well worth the money.
blkrifleman 3
The autoplug is great! Opened up the ports on my s12 installed and adjusted the autoplug and it shoots and ejects whatever I feed her! If you don't have one, your not taking full advantage of your S12! Just my 2cents. kodaline 178
Dude, where is that avatar from? I want big version. That's like tasteful nudity, art, guns, and political commentary all in one.
camarobeast84 1
I'm with "kodaline", please tell... Also, I'm about to buy an autoplug...
