getboth 14
I heard that there is another shipment of vepr 12's with the folders (welded in open position) coming in January. I read this on another gun message board. Frst quote: Got to finger bang them as we were unloading them. They are really nice. The next shipment will come with folding stocks welded in the open position. Got to test fire the sample gun for ATF approval. It will feed and cycle anything you stick in the mag. We stuck in anything from #8 target loads to 00buck in the same mag and the gun fed and fired without a hiccup. Second quote, same person: There were only a 1000 in the first container load. That will be it till probably Jan. Check with Tac47 in Tx. I believe they got some from the distributor. Is this true? Edited October 20, 2012 by getboth
echoside190 127
I haven't heard anything on it but if that's true I might have a second vepr-12 in my collection.

obiwanbonjovi 337
I don't find that to be disturbing, but rather to be awesome news.
ec4321 113
Probably continue to be imported with as few features as possible so there is flush market for selling aftermarket accessories by the very folks importing them.
echoside190 127
I'm just waiting for a drum mag and more options for hand guards. I do hope some come in with the folder on but tack welded in place, I've been waiting on these for a few years and have held off on a S12 so I just jumped on the first batch to come in country. Now I'm planning to build up a S12 and see if any new vepr-12 configurations ever come in.
Superhawk138 202
Hopefully if it's true. I hope the weld is only a little tack weld that can be ground and restore the ability to fold again.

abaddon 4
If they are the same as the UK fixed stock you won't be converting 'em back its solid weld.
Clay 8
never say never. Anything is possible with a little patience. that said does anyone have a picture of the UK weld?
