I was about to do the same thing but didn't bother since other posted that their request were denied. Either way I am switching out the stock to a collapsable one. Two more days until my Vepr 12 got here. ETA: Per FedEx tracking, my package got stuck in Maryland for the last 3 days due to hurricane Sandy. Look like I have to wait longer for my package since I am closer to the west coast. Yg

You should just be happy. C'mon. We know that plastic is durable. Yes, I have lots of "plastic" guns (or just the frame of those guns). I even have a plumcrazy ar15 lower, S&W M&P 15-22 (lower/upper receivers are all plastic). But when the description of the Vepr 12 is: Everything about the Vepr is heavy duty and built like a Russian Tank. I would expect that the rail is of metal. Placed my order on the 2nd. Should be my turn anytime now. I have not been anticipating a new firearm as the Vepr 12. Before when my FFL called me informing that my packages were in, it usually took me a few days to bring my lazy a$$ in for the transfer. This time is different. I want to fly to Atlantic Firearms to pick up my Vepr 12 since they released the YouTube video. Yg
