jim032374 4
Just want to share a few pics of my just finished MKA 1919 and the rest of my Black Rifle family. I think it blends really well with the rest of the boys. Last week I took the challenge of making my own MKA Quad Rail Handguard. It started as a two piece, full lenght 12", non floating AR-15 handguard, a few pieces of 1" aluminum square tube, 1/8" aluminum plate and lots of elbow grease. Finished it with high temperature satin black epoxy paint. It was a good excersice in patience and measurements but the end product is really rewarding. The top rail aligned perfectly with the upper receiver rails for a seamless apperance. Edited October 23, 2012 by jim032374

Trappnguns 1
How does that sightmark hold up to the heavy recoil?
mmmbeefy 0
+1 on the Sightmark holding up? I have one for an AR build. I put it on to try out while breaking in my MKA. It has held up through 5 boxes of break-in (including 1 box of 3" Mag), but I wonder if someone has put more use on one?
Flatland Shooter 22
looks like a 50 cal next to the others,....nice! I never really thought about the size difference. A lot of folks have never heard of MKA 1919 let alone seen one. I went to an IDPA Defensive 3-Gun match put on by some local folks and I overheard a gentleman explaining to his friends I was shooting a bull barrel .308. Bill Haha yea thats funny people don't realize its a shotgun until you tell them. I went out with a group shooting a little while back and we started shooting clay so i pulled out the mka and the looks i got were hilarious especially when i was shooting every clay. they couldn't believe how good of a shot i was with a AR. i finally had to tell them its a shotgun and it made a little more sense on how i was hitting all the clay. Sphy1005 0
Man looks great. Love the handguard. Now make me one please. People also confuse the name with the m1919 machine gun whe I say mka 1919.
