Aeromat209 24
I was able to buty 2 Vepr12's . Each from a different Dealer . The first one had the gas puck with the solid end facing out . The second Vepr came 2 weeks later and the gas puck solid end is facing in with the hollow void facing out . Maybe part of the reason some are having problems with their gas regulation and FTE etc . The puck will fit either way so is easy to make a mistake in assembling unlike a Handguard or the bolt assembly ,or the recoil spring, or the top cover. Quality control is always the bain of industry. At this point I guess a survey is neeeded to find out what the correct position is for the gas puck . Maybe it does not matter ? Maybe it does matter!!? Please survey your own gas pucks and please let us all know the correct position solid end faces out or solid end faces in !!!
obiwanbonjovi 337
the solid end faces forward
ec4321 113
Yup. The solid end goes in. The Op Rod has a notch in in, the rod fits in the piston and this notch can be used to grab the piston and pull it out of the chamber. If yours is not like this, make it so. DresNightfire 39
Correct, the hollow end should face you so you can use the piston end to take it out. nucjd 6
Really cool video! I also like how the gas tube lever was twisted with the bolt carrier.
