Finally Finished My Saiga 12

Recommended Posts

Did all this in about an hour:

Saiga 12 IZ-109 unconverted

Phoenix Technology dark earth dress

10 round AGP magazines

EO Tech 512

AK scope mount

AK front sight

Chaos Warthog muzzle brake

Tromix oversized charging handle

Magpul AFG

GG&G sling attachment

Then, I decided that I wanted to do the conversion:

Pauly’s Steelin’ glass bolt system with trigger enhancement:

Chaos Titan quad rail and HK style sights:

Carolina Shooters Supply barrel shroud:

Changed to Magpul RVG:

I felt that the Kick-Lite stock was too flimsy. So I replaced it with a CAA tube and a Magpul STR stock with the enhanced butt pad:

MD Arms 20rd drum:

This is how she stands now:

you put me on a roller coaster.

I saw the tag line about "finally finished" and the first pic shows a bolt on PG stock combo. This makes me sad for what you are missing, and how typically defensive most people are about those.

Then you show it done right. Nice twist ending.

Me too, my first thought was "no, it's not finished".

Turned out very nice though!

Likewise, my buddy bought a similar bolt on stock and they're just cheesy. The finished S12 looks great! Im waiting for my first one in the mail so I'm pretty excited.

Is the gun pretty heavy now? I was planing on the Titan and Tromix brake but that shroud looks nice, i just don't want a 10# home defense gun. Im actually thinking of cutting the barrel and welding a brake on to save a couple inches.
