breid1970 327
Break out your tin foil boys and girls. The Gobment is putting out the call for a submarine multipurpose drone aircraft carrier. Now that is too funny.

Capt Nemo 882
Just stay clear of the button marked ATP! In WWII the japs built 1-2 aircraft carrier subs. Can't see why it couldn't be done for drones. However, it would have to be sea launch and land recovery, as I don't think the drones would be able to handle the extra weight of a set of floats. Bayoupiper 738
As if they didn't already have one.
MT Predator 2,294
I take it this submersible carrier is a drone as well? Makes sense as the technology definitely exists. Why not for a covert infil, launch, and strike on a target in a far away vacation spot? Way cheaper and less obvious than a regular carrier launching drones as well as no personnel on board to risk.
