Frank was going to the hospital for what was more or less a routine appointment. His wife dropped him off at the entrance then went to park the car. He walked in the door and collapsed hitting his head during the fall. Staff raced over put him in a wheelchair to take him for care. Within 5 minutes he was dead.

Frank was retired from both the Air Force and the phone company in Alaska. He was a man of true character and a good and faithful friend. At 66 he had just adopted his 6 year old granddaughter because she was in a bad situation at home. Frank was active with the Wounded Warrior Project and the family requested contributions be made to them in lieu of flowers.

Frank enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a small collection of guns and enjoyed shooting.

So in many ways a lot of us just lost a good friend.

RIP Frank.

God bless him and his family.

Sounds like he was (still is) a great guy.

We had a family member pass away this year too.

In my mind, the loss is painful, but it's all part of life.

And the best part is, we get to see them again when we go.

It all works out ok eventually. smile.png
