MIKE20GA 11
I visit this site very often and since I have a S-20 , I come to this forum instead of the S-12 one .......... but lets be frank - except for a few die hard S-20 fellers .........this forum is D.O.A ....which is too bad , because the S-20 is a different world then the 12 gauge
sunnybean 939
Yep, no love. Many here have made mags but for whatever reason the 20 gets the cold shoulder. :-( I've had two and they are a lot of fun. Sold one during the panic but I won't part with the other. faststang90 18
yeah i found a drum for it but its like 300 for it. so i got like 5 of the 13 round ones. i got the newer 10 round ones but the ammo dont load good in the gun. :-( i was told that they are going to stop the amount of ammo it will hold. so there is no reason to build a new one. saltydecimator 482
Had a guy tellin me they only imported 400 of em so he wanted to trade straight up for a 12. Also told me red jacket converted it. Little did he remember that he traded it from me a year ago. That's why it pays to remember phone #s of people who you don't wanna deal with. I like em. Less recoil. Neat clear mags. Don't have to give 20 ga away when ya buy it on accident. Oh, guy had 1990s model at wanenmachers. Asked him to come of his $1k (unconverted) price. He said 900? If I had the cash I would stick around ad tried to get it. Oh well
IndyArms 10,186
I got a friend right now has one for sale for 500... I am not sure whats been done to it, though... Just talked to him THIS MORNING...
saltydecimator 482
I'll take it!!
MIKE20GA 11
$500 for a 20 ga.........? i WOULD take it too ! The S20 is a heck of alot more fun to shoot then the S12 .......... I don't like the sledge hammer punch on my shoulder -nor the tooth loosening, ball banging recoil of the 12 ga..
Cobra 76 two 2,677
I love my S-20. Racegal likes shooting it too, even though the worst case she ever got of shoulder bruising came from it once while shooting slugs with just a thin shirt on...lol. She was purple the next day. Mine has no recoil (butt) pad on it though and just a steel plate on the wood AK stock. Great little gun though with plenty enough power and quite accurate with it's 22" full choked barrel. AnArmyofRon 3
I always check here first, too. I really never have anything new to add. I bought one of the 10rd magazines recently and can't get it to feed properly. I love my 20ga, and my wife uses it to dove hunt. Bet there are a lot more lurkers just like me. TxAgSaiga1979 16
I have one as a home-defense shotgun. I love it because the recoil is so low, my gf and I can both shoot it.
MIKE20GA 11
We sure welcome all lurkers !
MIKE20GA 11
I found this in another thread , which had taken it from a still older OTHER thread ......... Cobra 76 two, on Jan 18 2007, 10:37 PM, said: To quote from another thread about the lack of activity in the S-20 forum..."Here Ye, Here Ye..." Why the bloody-hell is it so quiet here, within the Saiga-20 forums??? Like... I find myself sitting at home almost every day cruising through the new forum postings, counting down the days (okay, so THAT'S a bloody lie, it will be more like months!) until I get my TROMIX Saiga-20 from Tony "the-stud-man" Rumore... which of course the wait is excruciating torture beyond this plain of existence's comprehension.... but no one (apparently no Saiga-20 owners) have anything to say or report about concerning Saiga-20s!!!!!
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Yep that would be none other than Gary if my memory serves... (No it's definitely Gary trust me...lol) Glad to see ya reading back through the archives. I wish everybody would do that.
MIKE20GA 11
well ....sadly , it's not like there's any new fresh conversations going on here . I reckon out of sheer boredom .......... and trying to get a Saiga "fix" , I go back thru the years and try to seek knowledge ! Let's all hope this new year brings a whole bunch of new members to this lonely Forum .

MIKE20GA 11
its the price of things... cost of admsion on any of these is too high right now so folks dont have the moolah to mess with em, no matter caliber or guage... perhaps you should spur on hte convo with some enlightening thoughts??? Now your talking !! Where do I get enlightenment ? Heck , the cost of nearly ALL firearms has gone thru the roof .....yet people are buying them in record numbers ! The Saiga 20 just can't find a following ....... This Budda Monk once told me "seek knowledge - THEN look for enlightenment " Edited January 11, 2014 by MIKE20GA
