Our natural world is just freaking incredibly awesome, and being paid by Nat Geo to travel and take pics of it would be sweet.
And without a doubt, when swimming with an apex predator, at times scary as hell.

Stuff like this, and "River Monsters", is why I will only swim in a pool for the rest of my life...

 

...and I grew up on a lake!

And down here on the GulfCoast, we've more Alligator mississippiensis than you can shake a stick at.

You don't just jump in any water to cool off.

You won't find me in the bayou without a 12ga and at least a x39. I wouldn't even bother to bring a sidearm.

 

POOLS FTW! :) That's the only upside of being railroaded by my county into being put on a public sewer. Now I can put a pool over what used to be my septic.
