"Cops got called about someone with a gun, an unarmed guy who was wearing headphones and couldnt hear the officers orders, then stuck his hand in his pocket to retrieve his cell phone, cop shoots him dead". Like usual, these stories are bullshit until the facts come in. The officer was wearing a camera, sooooo maybe we'll get the real story, maybe not. This is a white 20yr old shot by a black officer. Almost zero outrage, no presidential recognition, nobody really gives a fuck. I notice there is no mention of the officers name anywhere. When cop whitey shoots a black guy, his name is plastered everywhere, when cop blackey shoots a white guy, crickets. When in doubt taser the motherfucker and everybody goes home, maybe I am absolutely certain that their are many situations where there is no other choice than to shoot someone, but it's looking more and more like the first choice for some. Some defense attorney or personal injury lawyer finally found a "doctor" to say in court that the taser can kill you. So, Taser International had to rewrite their user guides and now police departments all over the country have had to rewrite their use of force policy regarding tasers.
