Took mine out to the range today and shot it. I would shoot a few rounds and clean/re-oil the barrel to break it in like posted above. The weirdest thing is happening. At ~20-25yrds I'm getting a few slight keyholes but at 100yrds but I was able to hold a ~7" group with irons no problem... I didn't have a chance to really investigate it more at 50yrds or anything it is just really weird. What is up with my barrel?

I have the NoDak Spud receivers also... What does this mean? I need an education about ak's outside of the saiga world....

Nice, bought two of these the other day but I have not gotta a chance to shoot either yet.... I had planned on getting another saiga 7.62x39 and converting it but these seemed like such a steal I bought two instead. I'm kinda concerned about how good the quality is since all my other experiences are with saiga's. One came with a tapco buttstock and the other didn't... weird. Also the brake one the tapco one has allittle play in it and has this saw-tooth looking vent where the other is nice and snug but is a half moon vent. Just seems odd that that they are so different. Any ideas on how

I went with LIII steel plates, I got mine at expertguns. They will stop anything short of 30-06 with multi hit capability. A little heavier than my old interceptor was but I like that I can't crack my plates and ruin um. I got a deal on my stuff (they just increased their prices ~2months ago). 2 plates and an eagle carrier for $279..

Bump me too. Also Klassy, how does the SGM Tactical Tri Rail hold up to heat? Mainly where it attatches to the barrel notches is it metal? I figure I can heat shield the rest of the HG but the attatchment point has to be able handle the heat from a couple hundred rounds or so or it'll literally melt off the barrel.

I got some like that from centerfire, I stripped the black finish off and now they fit alot 'smoother'. Most of mine were a blackish plum color and had the arsenal symbol sanded off. I don't think they are bulys, just re-finshed in bulgaria... If I had to take a guess, I'd say russian surplus...

centerfire has um with a pouch for ~$40/4 mags. They are recoated with some weird black rough paint through, I just used paint stripper and took all that crap off. Most are blackish-plum color and in great shape after that.

Great news, we just gotta keep fighting and expanding our freedoms and lead the way. I think the left is losing alot of power and influence world wide, not just here in America. One day I hope that our Canadian, Mexican, and European brothers can enjoy the same freedoms we do.
