I have used PayPal as well using gift option I would use it again I have used USPS mo and even personal check I prefer for my own stuff that I sell to receive USPS mo but imo the bottom line is as for a "safety net" buying anything online from an individual you are taking a chance of never seeing the item. grips are all about preference for the authentic look i would go with the plastic ones personally i like comfort and i love the hougue grips i have hogue grips on 5 or six different guns and their great IMO.

I reload for everything that i shoot and when it comes to cost it is cheaper to reload depending on where you can get supplies. Just like everything else out there you have a wide assortment of prices for materials and that is where it comes down to being cheaper or not if you go buy everything you need from the most convient place it may not be cheaper than the bulk packs at walmart if you are willing to work at it then you can be rewarded greatly. if you factor in your time it takes to load them and that is the way you are going to look at it i wouldn't bother in my opinion you shouldn

just a guess here but it might have something to do with the hammer and how it interacts with the carrier causing some hold up is it stove piping, not trying to eject or getting caught sideways

well got out and shot it cycling 1250fps shells now consistent on 5 still having some fte's on the low recoil buck but i can live with that if i open up the other ports i think i will be over gassing it just to get my low recoils to work by the way i didn't check exact measurements on factory ports but they were smaller than the 3/32 bit i used to drill the 3rd the crazy part of the whole thing to me is how it worked with the factory plug with only the 2 ports but its all good just need to order some drums now

well i can assure you had you offered me two drums to send my gun and plug to you from the start i would have probably fell down running through the snow to get it shipped anyways my 12 is no longer a 2 port model but just became a 3 going to go and give it another go this weekend fortunately for me i have a gun range 2 mins from my house at a little park let the kids play on the jungle gyms and go shooting 75 yds away I will apologize up front for getting back on the original topic since everybody is having so much fun

ok i have an update I got a chance to re-polish and oiled carrier and went out for another round of shooting and i believe my conclusion is that the md plug may just control gas flow to much after polishing i noticed improvement with plug but now instead of not throwing bolt far enough back to eject it is starting to eject just not clearing the chamber as asked before it is 19in barrel 2 ports now the v plug would not cycle 3in mags on 1 setting had to be on 3 which is y i don't think 5 is letting enough gas through to cycle so since the v plug is monitoring gas flow so tight if i added an e

Thanks for the responses I am going to re polish everything this weekend and try again I have been comparing pics and it looks fine as i said before it didn't always run perfect with cheap shells before but the low recoil buck usually runs pretty smooth I'm not above admitting my own fault if its something I did but I will see what happens with a fresh polish clean and oil but the reason i posted here is because i havnt heard any bad things about the plug and was looking for other problems to be the cause it is only a 2 port and may be slightly under gassed but the factory plug working bet

yep holding it tight its the only way to not have a sore shoulder from shooting all day and as to polishing the bolt i have no objections to that but when the gun works with a stock gas plug and not an aftermarket i wouldn't call that an improvement per say not talking down on the plug yet just saying for what good reviews are out their on it i shouldn't be doing more work to the gun to make it work at least not with a gas plug anyways and its been polished with a jewelers wheel as i do all of my firearms as for installing the plug it threaded right down to the - or 1 spot perfectly it sto

I was wanting to know if anyone has had any issues with the md arms v-plug my stock plug is by far working better than the v plug the only shells i can get to cycle with the v-plug are 3in turkey loads or comparable load and i have to be on setting 3 i cant even get my low recoil buckshot to cycle and with the stock plug i can shoot walmart cheap low brass crap just looking for some input if you have had similar problems

I have a 308 that i am starting to convert and i have a couple concerns that i am hoping some of you with more experience can help me with i was looking at the tutorials on where to cut the pg hole and i have yet to see a pic with the factory trigger hole as long as mine and i think that when i cut the hole it will be in part of the factory trigger hole now will that cause weakness there my factory trigger hole is just about an inch long give or take and if it will cause weakness does anybody know of a trigger guard with built in pg nut that will fit the 308 sorry if these que
