Laws on buying ammo
shotgun_lobotomy replied to Jaffa Killer's topic in Other Weapons - RIFLES (non-AK based)
i was under the impression that by PA law ur father could give u a gun, any gun pistol or rifle as long as ur legally allowed to own it and the right age without paperwork -

one mag and one drum at 50yard haha i cant even count the holes, the tree i had it on was hollow when i was done bullets were just falling out, found a few that had hit eachother -
well i did try a few unknowns and a yugo, same thing im too broke to buy a mag i just spent $1500 on my tommy, i figure ill just cut it at 45 like u said about 2mm down and deep and taper to the edges
-
haha ive only ever had the one mag, i can see where its hitting lookin at it, its more from 8 to 4 and about 1.5-2mm down i really cant see much in that pic sry

hey mt sksd is starting to fail to feed, its always been touchy, here the bullets are digging into the bottom of the chamber, no feed ramp or anything. so my question is can i bevel that and if so how far can i go before i have to worry about getting dangerous? i was thinking about a 1/8in would work perfect
-
why bother, id rather have a 45/70 loaded with 500gr bullets
-
i loved my witness, put tons of ammo thro it, too big to carry tho so i got the SA ultra compact, i had the 45 wonder finish witness

shotgun_lobotomy replied to jon elia's topic in Other Weapons - HANDGUNS
not a single one, i only have the ultra compact cause i carry, maybe the only problem i ran into was it dont like a bullet with a large flat nose (Cor-Bon) but hydros feed great, right now im carry'n those extremeshock talon type ammo, feeds great and will really put a hurtin on the bad guy -

haha i took it out yesterday to the pistol range. @ 50y i was walking up and down the dueling post, so accurate whenever i missed one of the targets id get pissed, as for not shooting it HAH sure its pretty but its like my corvette, i got it to use not to look at, hahaha. its also the heaviest gun ive ever handled really, like 15lb loaded, but that with the cutts comp makes it a dream to shoot, no recoil, and that violin case is more like a guitar case lol -

hahaha i havent even shot it yet, ended up comming in today instead of tomorrow, and i had a date -
its a AO 1927-A1 Thompson paid $1129 for 50 round drum 30 rounds sticplastic hardcase violin case

as a guy who owns a few 45/70govs i have to remind ya if u try this only use normal factory loads, the 45/70 can be loaded to evil proportions and u have to watch for that, most normal factory loads are made to work in any gun, so they tend to be low pressure as the older guns just cant take much, but todays newer guns can take em loaded HOT so some companies have started makeing dangerous loads
-
my sks used to slamfire like that , it was from useing normal american loads in it, the primer is too soft and the fireing pin woul float into it a lil , never had it happen with wolf or anything, haha needless to say i got a mag of winchesters ready for any shit that hits the fan. last time i shot some it emptied 30 rounds in a heartbeat lol

Pennsylvania Open Carry Non-law
shotgun_lobotomy replied to Doerdie's topic in Other Weapons - HANDGUNS
at the lil talk when u get ur ccp down in washington pa, the cop told us that the open carry law was there to protect you if ur concealed gun came out in plain site, say if u were bending over at the store, that way u cant be held liable for some idiot calling the cops -

shotgun_lobotomy replied to Tokageko's topic in Other Weapons - HANDGUNS
not really vamp, my p22 looks like a evil f*cker and i think the red dot on their chest is better than a sound anyday -
ive carried for over a year now, mostly i carry in either a iwb or kydex holster behing my right hip or if im gonna be in my car all day the small of my back but sometimes i carry a backup in a pocket

my p22 hasnt jammed i about 3000 rounds, id say the .22 is a lil weak but better than nothing, just use a solid round nose high velocity, the p22 does have one advantage, u can faire those ten rounds at great acuracy at a almost full auto rate, in about the time that u can rack the slide of a pump shotgun and fire, i keep my p22 rright next to my bed with a lazer on it set at 20ft.
