  1. If I hold the bolt open it will lock in. I also just found that if I only put 9 in the mag it will lock in.
  2. I have a surefire 10 round mag that wont lock in when its loaded. When its empty it will lock in with no problem. I cant see were the problem is.
  3. Stupid question. If a 7.62 mag fits in a .223 saiga would it be possilbe to mod a 223 follower to work in a 7.62 mag. I know it most likley wont work but it was just a thought.

that looks pretty sweet. wish mine would have fit good enought to keep it on.
  5. I forgot all about these. preban AR mags are pretty cheap right? Depends on where you look. I got a bunch from a guy on TheAKForum for a decent price awhile back. Pre-ban AK mags in x39 are pretty easy to come by. From what I hear a majority of the x39's are pre-ban but the problem is not alot of people like to ship them to ny anymore.
  6. I have to order a bullet guide from dinzag so i was going to order a 24mm 74 brake there. I hear he has the good ones there.
  7. It wouldn't be a problem if it was one of those Romanian FSB's. There aren't any brakes or hiders with that particular thread count and pitch, right? Yes if I remember right the romanian fsb uses th 22mm thread. I have a bulgarian so Mine uses the 24mm.
  8. So if im understanding correctly, if it takes 7 inches to turn the flag once would be a 1:7 twist an 9 inches would be a 1:9.
  9. I already quit smoking about 3months ago so I guess I should start eating alittle better.
  10. I have heard both 1:7 and 1:9. Dont know how to tell what i have?
  11. you can get preban but i dont think you can get a preban us made. what area are you from?
  12. for the .223 you can use weiger, galil or modify ak-74 mags but you'll need a bullet guide. 7.62 i beleive you can get ak-47 mags but you'll need a bullet guid for this also. any others im not sure about
  13. Hello there and welcome. I own both .223 and 7.62. and in my opinion, for target shooting, i found the .223 to have alittle better accuracy and a tighter grouping but the 7.62 has alittle bit more kinetic force. If you plan on adding a pistol grip with the t6 you have to make sure you stay 922 compliant. The link below will tell you what parts are countable compliant parts. http://home.comcast.net/~navy87guy/home/922r.html
  14. Has any one ever shot the wolf 75 grain? Its time to stock up on ammo again but i normally shoot a 55 or 62 grain and was wondering if the 75 was worth it.
  15. Some people just dont have a good sense of fashion like me.
  16. Nope, but Backwoods suit me fine when I'm on the cheap. I can do the backwoods. there not bad.
  17. Im gonna have to do this again thanx to louielouie for selling me a threaded fsb . But this time i gotta wait till I get my ak-74 brake because im in ny and cant have open threads, have to have a break or nut to weld on .
  18. if i remember correctly dinzag sells a fcg for unconverted saigas Yes dinzag does have them but for an uncoverted it only counts for two compliant parts not three.
  19. I will keep that in mind I am going to contact the company re: a return/exchange but if I have to sell it I will give you first dibs. Thats cool, but if you cant return it and you go to sell it just pm me. thanx
  20. If you cant use that trigger guard and have to buy a new one, I will buy that one if your interested in selling it.
