  1. you might be better with tools than me..... I was afraid of screwing up the stock, so I've decided to just sell it.
  2. I'll sell mine..... I bought it new but never installed it. I'm left handed and the cheek piece does not lock in place for lefties..... I didn't wanna Bubba up the stock by trying to dremmel another notch in it, so it is just sitting on the shelf unused..... you would have to drill the holes in it as it has never been installed on a gun
  3. Brown bear works great in my Saiga 308.
  4. well.... a little polishing on some trigger parts cured this problem.....

what kind of groups are you getting with your Saiga 308's? I just put a scope on mine and was shooting 1 inch groups at 50 yards with a Centerpoint 4 X 16 scope.... I didn't get to go to 100 yards because it started raining......
  6. my 223 just started doing the same exact thing..... I took the cover off and watched it while pulling it back manually... no problems..... but when actually firing the gun, the trigger does not reset..... I'm very interested in what you find...... my next step is to try a different ammo because my latest trip to the range was with golden bear ammo that I had never shot in this gun before. I had always used my reloads before but got tired of the "ak kiss" denting my brass.
  7. unfortunately.... the saiga's give all the spent cases the "ak kiss" People say it really doesn't hurt the cases for reloading, but I will not shoot my good brass cases out of mine... I bought a bunch of Wolf steel cased ammo just for the Saiga..... the real brass I only use in my bolt .308's......
  8. I'm so sorry for your loss. And appreciative of you and your families sacrifice. You and your family are in my prayers. try militarygunsupply.com thats where I got mine...
  9. Are you sure? My 308 has 3 screws, 1 under the dust cover. My 308, 223, and Saiga 12 all had 3 screws holding on the stock....
  10. Geez... the way you describe it, you make it seem like a bad thing..... You should be proud to be a Saiga owner! NO REHAB NEEDED!
  11. I'm using both 10 round AGP and 12 round Surefires with no problems..... the first time I inserted the Surefires, it was a tight fit, but they were fine after that.
  12. I'm just gonna sell my skeleton stock..... I never installed it because the cheek piece does not lock in place for lefties.... only right handed people....
  13. Mine had the problem with the trigger not reseting also...... I had to polish up a couple parts involved with the trigger reset. Do this.....first make sure it is not loaded......... take the cover off and pull the trigger and hold it. while the trigger is held, cycle the bolt by hand. now when you release the trigger it should reset. if not, watch the trigger group parts closely....Mine would not reset but I could push the trigger forward to reset it. so I watched closely until I noticed the actuator at the back of the trigger group was sticking....I polished those little parts and now it
