  1. I watched those videos on this thread the other day. I was like "Hell Ya!, Red Dawn!" " WOLVERINES!!!" I just saw this article and I figured I would share it with you guys. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5h4kq-860fCB0J11y73pGafA7SMTwD9BLD8AG0 Lovely...Red Dawn here we come...lol
  2. the NcStar loader should work.
  3. I know...tried to tell him that, but dont think he wants to listen...i AWESOME paint!
  4. First you state that it's your 7th year of service. You don't state what service that is. Then you go on a delusional string of how you have had mandatory training on the constitution and government. AND then you have the GALL, to state that "it's easier to justify VIOLATING RIGHTS in a temporary fashion to control the situation". Just whose side are you on motherfucker? Don't you realize that the people that you most passionately want to disarm are the SAME people that will be on your side if Shit Hits The Fan? You can deputize us, brief us on what needs to be done, and COUNT on us to keep th
  5. Agreed. i thought it looked just find with the original front sight as well, not to mention a lot less work. Also, the stock handguard looked good with that configuration too. If only it was better ventilated. Clean, Simple, Perfect...
  6. ...here we go again... just paint the whole thing! its gonna look shitty with 2 different paints and finishes on it...
  7. Yeah, i love the whole Mad Max kinda feel that it looks like it has. I think thats why I loved Fallout 3 so much too.
  8. cool, sounds good! I havent bought a new game since Fallout 3 and i LOVED that one a lot! I think ill more than likely enjoy Borderlands, since i have an infactuation with post apocalyptic scenarios
  9. Anyone played Borderlands yet? I was thinking about going down to Wally*World and picking up a copy today.
  10. Best Answer ive heard yet, I LOVE IT!!! Just send a few rounds through the door while you're waiting for them to breech you...lol
  11. The 7.62x54R holds world records for taking down every large "big game" animal on every continent. So yeah, it hunts fine. So does 22LR, but that doesn't mean its the best thing. The .22LR doesn't hold any records for multi-continent "big game" takedowns that I'm aware of. +10! good call man!
  12. Im not sure about the 30-06 (7.62x??) 7mm Mag, .22LR or .17HMR, .357 Mag or .44 Mag, but heres the rest of the ones i do know about... 7.62x39 = 297.18 5.45x39 = 212.55 5.56x45 = 250.20 6.5 x55 = 357.50 111,743
  13. Yea, I realize that. Probably no one will be carefully examining my finish to see the incongruities. Maybe I'll do the top cover first and see if it looks weird being different than the rest. Another thing is, since the Saiga finish is textured, wouldn't I have to remove it first in order to have uniformity, if I did decide to do the whole thing? Thanks again. Ahh...thats the beauty of this paint! It fills in all imperfections like a champ! im telling you man, you WON'T be disappointed with this paint, its amazing!!! Once my gun was totally stripped, i used Simple Green to de
  14. Thanks for the information. My rifle has a textured finish, and I was afraid to mess with it too much. I definitely need to do the bottom of the receiver, the trigger guard (which I nicked up while removing it), and the replacement dustcover that came with the Tech Sights. Jim Yeah, but this paint is going to be a different texture than the factory stuff, and a LOT stronger IMO. I LOVE Saiga's but lets face it...the finish isnt that great
  15. Thats a BITCH in stock configuration...is it even possible?
  16. "Prepping" means lightly sanding the surface, then using alcohol to wipe it down to remove all oils from your skin to ensure the best finish possible ... I refinished my entire rifle. If you're going to take it down that far for the conversion, why cut corners, when you could do it right? I hung my Barrel & Receiver with a metal coat hanger by the front sight, and shot the whole thing with Rust-Oleum TEXTURED Black, and it came out BEAUTIFUL! and I can tell you first hand that that paint is tough as nails if you let it cure properly, and its a better looking finish than the gun came w
  17. First off, im glad you're OK, and nobody was hurt! As they say: Shit Happens. I did this exact same thing with my buddies Glock .45. He had left one in the chamber for whatever reason, which is not like him at all or myself for that matter. Like you, i let go of the slide and BOOM!!! it actually scared me so bad that i literally could have killed my best friend, that i didnt pickup another pistol for almost a year.
  18. I have a KA-BAR already, but my case for my knife doenst do all that...lol
  19. Anyone actually know WHERE to buy one of these knives? I found them on the Russian-American Firearms site, but i cant find anywhere to get one. They look like a really well built knife.

  21. Correct me if im wrong guys...and i know you will, lol. But if im not mistaken the Saigas all use AK-74 style parts, which should be pretty easy to get from places like K-VAR
  22. I have one. I had to wind up using a really strong epoxy to get the retainer to stay in place, but since i did that i havent had a single problem with it. its feels really good in your hands too.
