  1. Bump, $80 shipped.... help me clean out the closet and keep the wife happy!
  2. For sale, NIB, never mounted Chaos Tri-rail for Saiga 12s. I decided to go another direction with the gun so it's time to clear out the safe and make way for new parts =) MSRP $100, I'd like $80 plus shipping, I'll also throw in 3 Knights armament rail covers (used) for good measure. I'll also consider trades for the following Saiga 12 bits: Magwells, Magazines, Any CNC pistol grip adapters... Thanks! Rob
  3. I am confused, does the Molot allow for chokes, and if so, are they threaded into the brake? Or are you internally threading your barrel? What am I missing? Thanks, Rob
  4. I couldn't tell, which handguard is that? Nice Shootin! Rob
  5. Just wondering if anyone if knew if an AR type bullet button would work with the Akdal? Thanks! Rob
  6. Any progress on a Cali compliant Magwell? Eagerly awaited! Not sure if the design is finalized but it would be nice to have something like the black rifle guys have where you can enable/disable to bullet button depending on where you are. Just a thought. Thanks, Rob
  7. It's been said that NO AR parts interchange. Could a bullet button like the Radlock be modded to fit? I'd love this shotgun for the LRBHO, familiar controls, and magwell. Rob

    AKDAL MKA-1919

DELETED ORIGINAL POST Sorry, answered my own question after reading more thoroughly!
  9. Solarforce L2-P (modified to a forward clicky) on a LaRue Tactical Lt-606 mount, Ultimak rail. I can flick it on or off with my left thumb. Works guuuuud =) Rob
  10. Just wondering, what does your Saiga weigh, unloaded? Also include a brief description of what your setup is for reference sake. I ask because mine feels like a beast and wonder if it's time for "little nicky" to go on a diet =P Rob
  11. +1 for Ultimak. I have one and like it. But as per other posts, you need to be able to drill and tap to fit the rail. Rail is pricey and my cheap Chinese metric taps SUCK and good taps will cost you a little, so figure unless you already have metric taps your rail will end up costing you a bunch more than a quad rail forearm. On the upshot, it keeps the guns lines clean and uncluttered. Been thinking of posting some pics in the next few days... Rob
  12. Anyone seen this or have it? Seems like a nice alternative to a magwell or a rock-n-lock..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5_Ry9RCyw8 Pay attention around the 2:00 mark. Nice gun and I knew Krebs did good work but had never seen this item before... Rob
  13. I have 4 of those, there are in fact Taiwanese made. A few people here have shot them and are pretty satisfied with them. I like mine too, esp for the price while I wait for Double stacks! =)
  14. Saw one shooting IPSC back in the day and thought to myself, I wish I had more money (was shooting limited with a stock 9mm). Forgot about the gun for a handful of years and then saw one on a website specializing in top end Race Guns and thought it'd be cool to have one but I can't in Kalifornia. Forgot about it for some time while I looked into other semi suto shotguns. Didn't like the thought of blowing large wads of cash for a Benelli, but didn't like the thought of having to build and baby an 1100. Also loading a tube fed shot gun just didn't make sense to me. Then, thanks to all the recen
  15. Neither! Plain version here. Function before form brah!
  16. Re: Epoxy... Not sure why the Saiga community is so against it. I mean I totally agree if you are talking about kludging something up where you take a gob of JB weld putty and goober stuff onto your gun. But if done properly the epoxy can perform quite well. Shoot some metal aircraft members are epoxied together and if that is not a mission critical application I don't know what is! Epoxies sheer strength is HUGE. For reference, if you look up how to install QD style swivel cups there are two common methods: drill and tap a recess (for the threaded variety), or drill and epoxy (for the flu

BPS12- It's been done. I recall seeing a level 3a "blanket" you could throw over your family, but I kinda question how functional a heavy cloak would be over gear, which by definition, needs to be readily accessible in a gun fight. Not to mention easy to don at a moments notice. YMMV of course. Truth is, a thin, lightweight Level 3A is pretty cheap and easily gotten. For added threat protection, ballistic plates, while expensive, can be added to critical kill zones for rifle protection. Thing is, if you are being engaged with, and taking hits from a rifle you are allready in a world of
  18. FYI; 5 round mags are pretty much the exact same size as most 308 mags. Do a search for those and take your pic. You can go high dollar like HSGI Taco pouches (looks like the are a REALLY cool design and someone here is actually using them- do a search) or you can go cheapo like Condor or other brands. I kinda like the EMDOM 308 pouches myself. HTH, Rob
  19. SWEET! I'd been considering that very area for a single point sling attachment point but havdn't gotten around to it yet (the Saiga is like my house; tons of projects, none of them done yet!). Please please please do keep us updated on your progress and how well it works for you. When I was checking for a balance point with my smaller factory 5 mags the gun seemed to hang straight up and down when balanced near the rear of the receiver like you have it. My only concerns are: 1) When switching from strong side to weak side, how does the sling hang? Does it get in the way/bind at all? (AR's

Cheap Cop surplus level 3A vest with an aftermarket ceramic plate added in the front pocket. Where do you guys go for good cheap covers? Mine is getting kinda raty. Kinda wish I knew how to sew so I could add some molle loops for my mag pouches. Rob
