  1. Look at what you used to be able to buy a SVD for, or even cheaper a PSL. Now look at the prices, exorbitant. I always turned my nose up at the PSL thinking I'd cough up for an SVD soon, wish I'd bought several PSLs now. People want the real deal Russian AK... Hell, I know I do. Another Saiga 7.62x39 has been on my list for a long time and now if I want another I'll have to pay to much. Almost better of to buy a new Arsenal AK now.

  3. Nope, but I'm pretty sure that if they changed their diet up all the sudden and severe, there'd be cranky babes there too Never used a multi-tool, no, I don't find that it'd be overly strange, even when having three. For a few reasons, you have to wear it, and participate in work/activities that'd it's use'd be common in and/or advantageous too.
  4. A bit of celebration was in order tonight. 1) Doctor says my pneumonia has cleared enough to go back to work. 2) Received my 2017 bonuses from work, with a little extra than normal. Great news on both counts! A quick trip to Costco yielded some nice Prime New Yorks and a few Choice too. Choice for those cretins who demand an overcooked steak, I'll not ruin Prime beef. They don't know or appreciate the difference anyways. Menu NY Steaks Fresh steamed Broccoli with butter Garlic Bread Prime Choice Primes after an hour and half of hickory smoke, IT 100°
  5. First shop I went to yesterday, a little hole in the wall LGS called Revered Firearms here in Mobile, AL. I noticed it and gave it a once over on the counter. It kept calling to me all day long as I wandered other gun store looking for a new wheelgun. I went home did about 10 minutes of research, called the shop for a couple details and then excitedly drove back to get her.
  6. Thanks, appreciate it Patriot. Ain't that the truth... This one called to me all day long as I hit other shops. I went home researched it for about 10 minutes, called the shop to aske for a few details and then excitedly went and bought it. The wheelgun will have to wait. Thanks. Yep weird times, cheap ARs and expensive AKs. This one wasn't cheap, but I feel I got a good deal for what it is and it's Safe Queen condition
  7. Yes, apparently from what I've read Colt neutered some of the last ones made in '90 due to the AWB's passed in California )1989) and New Jersey (1990). Unfortunately this is one of them. Thanks, a trip to the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park is now due, can shoot to 600 yards there and no walking to check targets, all electronic.
  8. Colt AR15A2 (R6550) Government Model, 20" Rifle, .223 1/7 twist One of only 8000 made back in the Pre-Ban days from '88-'90. Serial number begins with GS007*** It is 99%, danged near immaculate, I wouldn't hesitate to say the only rounds fired through it were Colt's test rounds.
  9. I've been running around today. I hit five different gun shops, fingering every Ruger GP100 and S&W 686 in 357/38 that I could find, I wanted a 3"-4" barrel and 7rd cylinder. Found a few too, really liked a S&W 686 Plus, Combat Magnum, it felt great. But a rifle I saw at one store kept nagging at the back of my mind. 10. Our kids never got much so-called baby food, at least not the jarred crap. They breast fed until about 2-2.5, or until they were biting too hard and then pretty much bellied up to the table. Did ya know that a big homemade, spicy Mexican feast can throw Momma's milk off to a point that the kids won't eat it? Funny shit indeed, not so funny for Momma with screaming kids and full titties. BTDT
  11. Well, I think I'll spend a good part of my day touring local gun shops and fingering revolvers. I've a $1000.00 budget, but would like to keep it under $7-800.00 so as to buy a holster and what not.
  12. its about you commenting like you are shaming people for being disappointed LMAO, now I've been shaming people in this thread? What're you smoking?
  13. I've a few different Gerber multi tools, some had age related problems as none are less than 10 years old and well used. For one I needed parts for an easy self-repair and a replacement sheath, the other I need a broken file replaced. I filled out warranty requests on them without any paperwork/receipts and waited. They got back to me and stated that parts would ship for the one, and the other I could send in, but that they'd likely replace it with something new. I've opted out of replacing the second so far as I really like it and the file is not commonly used by me. So I wait and a few wee
  14. I don't know about that, we've put many a cottonmouth down with 9mm and/or .38spc snake shot. I'm looking at a bunch in the 3-6" range, 3-4" is about where I'm settled. Not looking for anything bigger than the .357mag, been looking at Ruger, S&W, Colt and Taurus, I do believe Ruger will win this one. Not on the list but in a contenders position. Minor difference in barrels, sights, grips, weight and appearance. Sometimes it's just nice to upgrade a bit.
  15. LMAO, do you hold a grudge, cause I sure don't? I never bore Mike any ill will, and if you read that into my posts in that thread then you're an idiot. Thoughts change a lot over 6-7 years, especially when politics make firearm a very poor bet to continue to R&D mags for. Mike has to make final decisions as a businessman not just an inventor/manufacturer. I know why he has taken the road he has, I accept it and applaud it now. Mike is looking at being a true ground breaker in the shotgun world. You think that feelings were excitable then, shit, you should've seen what it was
  16. Yeah, I saw one taken down and really liked how the trigger comes out as a unit. Heck the whole thing stripped into it's basic components is only approx 8-9 pieces IIRC.
  17. Which one should I get? Ruger GP100 357/38 3" Ruger GP100 357/38 3" Wiley Clapp Ruger GP100 357/38 3" Match Champion Primarily carry in the woods with two rounds of snake shot, occasional regular carry and fun plinking at the range. Or maybe be a bit frugal and look at the SP101s with a 4.2" barrel?
  18. Add your link to the conversation, don't think I've seen that article posted yet. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/100099-mossberg-mag-fed-pump-and-doublestack-mag/
  19. Ya know the only thing I hope for right now? I hope Mike made himself a really nice profit selling his hard work.
  20. Congrats to you Mike... Three cheers for a successful product... Hoozah! Hoozah! Hoozah! You've come a long, long, long ways, and you deserve all the recognition and profits due to you.
  21. I've had this damned flu-bug for a week now, it has been one hell of a long week even if I've been sleeping 15+ hours per day... This stuff is wicked. So bad I had to cancel a three day hunting trip at the height of our Southern Rut. Anyways, I finally starting to feel back to maybe something on the scale of at least sub-human and my hunger/thirst has returned... Big Time. I craved some comfort food and so I coached my wife through a batch of Chicken-n-Dumplings, she did all the food handling to keep my bugs to myself. Now I wish I could've smoked the Chicken, but I'm just not up to it. But
