  1. WAS WONDERING WHAT THE LEGAL IMPLICATIONS ARE FOR IMPORTING S12 MAGS, REGARDLESS OF CAPACITY? I WAS TOLD THE VALUE OF THE MAG CANNOT EXCEED $100. --DO YOU HAVE TO ORDER EACH ONE SEPERATELY? --ARE YOU ALLOWED TO IMPORT ASSEMBLED MAGAZINES?
  2. Here's a couple of web sites, I just hope you don't end up paying scalper prices. (like we're paying for mags right now) http://www.gunsamerica.com/ http://www.gunbroker.com/ or you might be able to get a director of the FFL holders in your state and start dialing.
  3. It's cool looking sight, and combined w/a krebs front sight gives you a pretty good sight radius. I just dont want to give up the ability to use my COBRA SIGHT.
  4. Hate to tell 'ya, but I just got off the phone with CDNN (for a pistol order) and as of 1:13 PM Eastern time they have five left. The guy I spoke to said he bets they will be gone by the end of the day.
  5. Does the sight interfere with the mounting of optics.
  6. I use the Buffer Technologies AK recoil buffer, www.buffertech.com , which helps quite a bit. I also sent my Saiga12 to Mag-na-port International http://www.magnaport.com/ and had it magnaported. That made a huge difference. They do excellent work. The holes are done using an EDM process, are angled about 45 degrees and resemble rounded rectangles. (see attached pictures) I think it cost $100.00 to have it done. The only drawback is my S12 has an 18.5" barrel, so to function reliable in all temperatures and with all ammo I must leave the gas setting to magnum. Since the recoil is so mild,
  7. Amish, for springs try http://www.gunsprings.com/ thats wolf springs, they gotta have somthing for you. You could also try www.brownells.com their website is a little hard to navigate, it might be easier to call them @ 1.800.741.0015. As for mags, I said it once, and I'll say it again, if you make a durable, reliable mag, you will sell them. Just look at how many views your last mag post got. (over 1600 I believe) As for price I would buy one @ $50.00. If it is durable, and reliable, I would buy 4 more. If you start getting close to Factory high cap prices ($70.00) I would just go ah
  8. AK Daddy, I don't know who you spoke to, but CDNN has 43 Saiga 12's in stock. I ordered two Friday. When you call, talk to Brian in sales, he will hook you up. PS They are still $269.99! Where else can you get a semi-auto shotgun based on an AK design that cheap!?
  9. AK Daddy, I don't know who you spoke to, but CDNN has 43 Saiga 12's in stock. I ordered two Friday. When you call, talk to Brian in sales, he will hook you up.
  10. OK Amish, You make a reliable, durable high cap 12, 20, or .410 mag I would be very interested. If you come up with something PM me. 300RUM
  11. http://www.prodiz.ru/katalog/zap_orug.html This was the page I was referring to. Has anyone ever delt with these guys before?
  12. Some where in all these threads, somebody had posted a pictures and vender for a Factory Saiga-12 Frontsight/flash hider. I want to know where I can get the factory frontsight flash hider. I already checked rusmilitary.com but don't see one listed.
  13. OK, Tried to upload pics, but having problems, if anyone wants to see'm reply and I'll try again. Anyway, here's some of the problems you'll encounter. 1. The S12 mag is 3.150" long from front to back at mag catch areas. The USAS12 mag is 2.760" long from front to back at mag catch areas. --- This basically leaves a gap of .390" that has to be built up with a large front mag lip to engage the front of the receiver. The pictures make this gap look pretty dramatic. 2. The USAS12 rear mag catch is pretty robust, but located too low for S12 purposes. It has 3 rivets that would have
  14. I found a USAS 12 stick mag for $150.00 I guess its my turn to contribute something to the forum, so I will cut this mag up and post pictures on how I did it. (if it works!)
  15. Did anyone ever post how to retrofit USAS 12 stick mags to fit the Saiga 12?
  16. Yeah been 3 months, Its converted I have been waiting for him to refinish it with that moly-resin, I am officially getting pissed, he wont return my e-mails or phone calls, last I heard (early febuary) he had some problem with his air brush system, kinda sounded like BS, If I dont hear anything this week, I may have to contact a lawyer or something, it is getting ridiculous, I'm not sure what I should do. Anyway I dont want to hijack this thread, I'll start a new topic later after I call him again. Chris <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who has been giving you the run around? I ask
  17. I was looking at a Saiga 20 with a fixed choke. Not sure how to tell what the choke is. Is there a code on the receiver, I see nothing on the barrel. What would the bore inside diameter be for "cylinder bore"?
  18. I ordered and received my johnnymceldoo flash hider last week. That thing looks great, really nice work. Fit the Saiga factory threads perfectly. I would recommend it to any one interested in a FH
  19. I ordered one from Power Customs (red star) and it is the wrong length. I called Arsenal about a 'Krink piston but those are too short, So I would like to find someone who makes one for the S12, S20, and S410. Further, I'd like to know how to properly change one out.
  20. NEDPEPPER, I'm not sure what your question is. The Saiga-12 I'm referring to is a fixed full choke 22" barrel. I would like to have a cyl. bore so I can shoot slugs.
  21. Can a Saiga-12 with 22" fixed choke barrel be cut back to make it a cyl bore? Not sure how Saiga tapers barrel to achieve choke. I would like the ability to shoot slugs.
  22. I know the question has been asked here recently, but I dont think its been answered; What is the going price for USAS-12 Stick magazines? I've been qouted $175 a piece from a class 3 dealer!!!
