First. I will never put a link up in a post as far as a law is concerned. If you dont believe me and what I am talking about concerns you then you should take your own interests at hand. I had to research all this myself. I didnt have forum boards or websites to consult. Nope I called a lawyer and found out all of my local laws. I then called my local BATF office up and asked to speak to them concerning the regulations. I am lucky to have some very nice agents here. I am not trying to be a wet towel or nothing. But Are you sure you want to make a 10rd mag? Do you know what will happen if you do? Hell 8's are illegal in half the states anyway. Some states wont let you have higher then 3. I am willing to bet that 10 would be ilegal in your state as well as by BATFE.. It is a class 3 item anyhow. Same thing as making a machine gun, Making a illegal DD. Not smart. That goes for everyone. Please. If you live in a area like mine. The police will check your mags. Before you do anything rash like shell out good money for a couple of mags. Ask yourself one thing. Are you going to convert your saiga to a regular AK? If so. dont buy the saiga mags. They wont work unless you like to tinker. If you would tinker with them they lose their value. In that case then why dont you just buy cheaper mags? I wish to god someone would have said that to me a Couple OF YEARS AGO! If I were you forget the saiga mags (leave those to the russians) and buy you some polish mags. (polish and saiga mags are identical except for the guide) Convert your gun

I know you already found one but I wanted to add that you needn't sweat about the mags. There is supposed'ally a bunch of people going to be making "10rd" mags. But if they dont. I'll have mine out shortly. And there will be plenty for everyone.
