Now that you mention it, I think I will. Makes sence to. that way I gain experience in that aspect aswell. I would like to set up a course of some sort. That would be pretty awesome. Do some target shooting and stab a couple of sandbags/watermelons. Just when I think im past being a newbie I forget key things such as that. Thanks for the Idea.

I was having the same problems when I first got mine. It would only cycle high brass ammo. I have had other members of the forum suggest sending it to Cadiz Gun Works for Warrenty work. Your gas ports might not be to spec. I sent mine off. First I contacted Vicki Jo at CGW and told her the problem and sent her my info. She sent me a UPS label and mailed it off to them for free. They did the work for free and a month later they mailed it back to me. It still didnt cycle Federal Ammo like they said it should of so I added a Gunfixers gas plug and haven't had any trouble since. Just to make if mo

perhaps its just that perticular ammo, cuz ive gotten better deals on7.62x39 and 5.56 from ammoman, tracking number included. thats just me though.

It was a blast! I am sorry to see her go, but with the economy the way it is, and paychecks not coming in until the end of the month, I figured it was best that we part ways. Plus member Monte-Cristo is a great guy and will keep her in use! That awesome! I'm learning to shoot my 7.62s at the moment. Yours is a 5.45x39,right?

That's funny how people say that seeing how that's probably how it was first done. Meaning they are knocking the people who came up with the idea. Might have not been done that way at first but I'm sure it was somewhat similar. -

I test fitted it with the Tapco Galil hand guard, but actually have two of the ones pictured above on the way, should be here saturday. I just noticed that there really isnt anything holding them in and wasnt sure of how it stays in. Ill just have to wait and see I suppose. Its gonna look just like the picture pretty much. How what stays in? The rod? yeah. There arent any threads or anything that I could find on the galil hand guard that would hold the rod in. Although I realize that the galil hg that I currently have will not work with the cleaning rod. So when the this one arri

didnt Plastik come up with his own design? if so how/why would/could he mass produce Toms design? I dont think anyone has even seen pics of it yet, have they? And isnt receiver modification required for Toms design? According to Plastik, there is none required for his design. I donno. apples and oranges i suppose.
