  1. I have a Saiga 5.45 on order, and I have been waiting for a month on it. They shop said I could be expected to wait a couple of months, as their distributors are currently out of stock. I decided to get another Saiga 5.45 by ordering one from an internet site and doing an FFL transfer. If 7.62 Saiga rifles are now getting hard to find in some areas, I would highly recommend checking out some various internet sites (Atlantic Firearms, Centerfire Systems, etc.) to see if they have any of these rifles in stock. The FFL transfer fee is a small price to pay for getting one of these rifles in

      You're a fucking idiot.

  3. I dont. I have a private # to reach them when I need to. I also know what is going on, as well. I will just say that no information will be available until after SHOT this week. no worries folks. all will become clear soon. Of course you do, you're at the top of this food-chain. But there you go again, talking about this "information" you have, but not revealing it until after some event. Just like the shit about Tom, that was supposed to be brought out into the open after new years. It is now the 16th of January, and you haven't said a damn word about it. Quite frankly we'v
  4. I just checked, because I thought you were crazy . But you're right. Weird. They even have a barrel as the thumbnail pic to click on for 5.56 parts. I'm going to call them on Tuesday to see what's up?
  5. I was gonna order the parts to my Spike's tactical, but their site no longer shows them selling barrels
  6. No, but what else is there to expect at this point in time?
  7. So it would seem, but this is most likely just another time period for vendors to hike up their prices.
  8. That's terrible. Perhaps it's time to call the importer directly, but it seems folks have trouble reaching them.
  9. Because of the panic buying associated with the tragedy in Tuscan, Aim is now SOLD_OUT For the love of ass monkeys... I just wanted to have some... now some pussies afraid of what's gonna happen next bought it all up. I hope they all got ripped off so far up the ass. ETA: I guess this is my chance to sell my WASR for several thousand dollars, because THEY'RE ABOUT TO BE BANNED!!!! BUY IT QUICK!! IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY! BINGO. Everything is basically normal. Apex Gun Parts still has them, but for $9.... thats the best deal right now due to the panic. Fuck it, I'm tired of
  10. Refinished some M1911 mags. Waiting for them to dry now.

Later when they're done. A bit too dark out to take photos. Plus I'm lazy. But I'm feeling a bit better. I've got this cough that won't go away, but I'm fighting on.

  12. I was reassembling my K98, when the band spring snapped in the front, so now it's just the tight fit that's holding the front band onto the rifle. So I'd like to buy a band spring from anyone who may have a spare one.
  13. Looks good. How long did it take you install it? Thanks, the stock took about 2 1/2 hours to install do to terrible directions Ouch Looks like you managed to get it done though!!
  14. I haven't had any problems with it. Several hundred rounds and there's very little to no endshake, and the timing is still perfect. I've had a smith go out of timing, and man would it spit ETA: Here are some more pics.
  15. Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm thinking. This whole deal will resolve itself.

  17. We'll have to see how this all plays out in the next few months. With talks of a new AWB and all that shit, picking up the warranty for converted evil rifles that can use high-capacity drums and mags might be a hot potato too hot for someone else to touch. However, what's currently going on may have been what happened every time the importer changed, so this may be nothing new. I'm not sure how this will all play out, but I've noticed a shortage as well, in terms of Saiga's in 5.45 and 7.62x39. There are plenty of .223 variants in both 16" and 20" at every show I go to.
  18. Yes, they are identical. The only difference in the 83 was a cosmetic change to the trigger guard, variety of calibers, and various finishes you could choose from. Honestly though, if you're gonna go for something in 9x18 Mak, go for a bulgy makarov. You really can't go wrong with it.
  19. Every Saiga I've dissected, all produced from '06 to '09, none of which were legion had the correct holes pre-cut. But maybe that's just the flow of things around here.
  20. I shot 500 rounds through my wasr, and found my break was easily removed even after two months of not cleaning the sucker. If you want to be meticulous about cleaning your weapon, and to ensure it comes off, then just use some regular shotgun choke lube. Otherwise leave it be.
