  1. People with WAY more experiance than me on here, but I say use a single hook trigger. Less to do on your part.
  2. For now I think I am going to keep it....I kinda like it.
  3. Sorry...........onpointfirearms.com. If that ain't it just google it.
  4. Actually I think all I need is the trigger group, disconector and p-grip nut.............and lots of drill bits! So I was looking at it. Is really the only difference compared to the .308 drilling out the 2 pins for the trigger (plug them with the nylon plugs when complete), and holes for the trigger guard will have to be drilled but not inside the mag release. Seems like the p-grip will sit further away from the mag then on the rifles. Does this sound right or am I out in left field? Thanks, Doug
  5. Got it from forum member fhrzr1.
  6. AWW YEAH! I'm in the club for sure now. So how much harder is this conversion going to be compared to the S-308? The .308 just pissed me off more than being hard to do cause the metal is so hard. I know....more of the same. Dinzag I may be PM'ing you again. Later, Doug
  7. onpoint.com (sorry I never tried to add a link) they had the best price I could find on the Saw grip and trigger. I don't know if they have the stock you want.....k-var probably will. If you you do decide you want a Yugo grip, pm me. I have one that I may be replacing with a Saw grip. Doug
  8. I don't know if onpoint will have everything, like the p-grip nut and bolt. But between them and k-var you could get it all. Plus it depends on what stock, grip you want. Good luck. Doug
  9. Damn dude. I wish you could of done this a week or so ago. I got one at the dealer to pick up tomorrow.
  10. I have one that came off a stock rifle. Doug

    Poly Coke

I was reading some old posts and there was talk about a possible screw on poly for the s-12. Did this ever happen? Thanks, Doug
  12. I have that same mount on my S-308. The windage was off pretty good. I used the aluniminum can shim idea. That got me on but I am maxed out on left adjustment. Granted The only place I've been able to shoot is 25 yards. If I need to adjust more I'm gonna get some Millet windage adjustable rings and give that a try. Doug

To cut to the chase, I have an original 10rnd mag body and would like to use it. Anyone know where I can get the parts? Thanks, Doug
  14. Indy. Some off lifes pleasures reqire a certain amount of finess (sometimes fishing or love making). Your antics of opening your bottle will almost always lead to some amount of spillage.....waste. Wasting of the beer is true and udder alcohol abuse.......and one should not abuse alcohol! Doug
  15. Just my opinon..........if your getting it for HER and she is more comfortable with a 20, why not just get the s-20 for her. If a 12 psychs her out she may not want to use it. Doug
  16. Does anyone know of anyone who sells these or where they can be made? Thanks doug
  17. Cool. I went on glock talk to brows around. Most there seemed to like it but liked the glock more. I keep telling myself...."no more different caliber wepons. You'll just have to buy more ammo." I had myself talked into for a while, but I'll just stick with my G17 for now. But I really do want a .45 just because. Doug
  18. Indy, I ordered mine off thier web sight a few months back and it did indeed say Belarus on the side. It is not what is pictured on their websight though. Maybe they had run out and used it for a temporary replacement....I don't know, but is exactly like the one Cobra just got. Doug
  19. Someones gonna say it so I will. First welcome to the board. Sit back, set aside some time and just start looking around. Do a search in this section, check the tech section and then ask more specific questions. As far as what you can do depends on your skill level and how deep your pockets go. As your looking around you'll see some really sick shit. Good luck in your search and there are lots of people here to help and lots knowledge to gained. Welcome to the addiction! Doug
  20. Cobra, Yeah, I just double checked to make sure and it's the same. It's weird though, I ordered mine a while back off their website, and it wasn't the one that was pictured. Sort of pissed me off at first but I liked it so no big deal. The ones Centerfiresystems caries is VERY close if not the same but a high mount, which has it's benefits but I like my scopes low as possible. How's Aimshot? I have a Berska red dot on the hipoint carbine but haven't used it yet........jury is still out. Hope I didn't go to far off topic. Later, Doug
  21. Hey Cobra, The mount you just got.......was it from the for sale section? I was thinking about that one, with the Aimpoint on it, and it was just like the one I got from Eastwave. Marked: Made Belarus. They are good. Doug
  22. Thanks, The external threaded barrel is what I was refering to. And if tony can do that then an S12 will be the answer. Cool! Doug
