  1. I would also like to add and A+ for Wolverine for a smooth transaction-- No doubt one of the good guys!
  2. I'll take the last two clear if they are still available, PM sent....
  3. I'll take this: posp ak side rail scope mount (ak style) $20.00 shipped. Please send payment info to ehrudolph at yahoo dot com
  4. I would CK with your local FFL if I were you, FFLs are allowed to use Priority Mail, and mine uses a Flat Rate Box, so besides whatever your FFL will charge 'ya, It may be cheaper to send it FFL to FFL................
  5. You gotta love that blast from the past stuff! I still kick myself for the '56 Chevy convertible I let go to a friend for $100
  6. I just picked up my first S12 in a trade, and am finishing up the conversion now. Gun addiction is a sultry disease, LOL My CC took a big hit and will be at my house shortly, but my birthday is next week, so easier to justify. My youngest son (almost 21) said he wants to get one now that he held the conversion (what a great way to connect with your kids!!).
  7. I like the idea of these sights too, but need a peep/ ghost ring rear sight too. Between my tired eyes and the tunnel look through due to my hand guard make it hard to pick up the rear sight. A little salty in price, but I really like the look!!
  8. I ordered two also and were at my house in a matter of days. I did get some fitting instructions and did both mags in about 5 minutes. I'm rapping up my conversion and hope to try them out soon. Between all of us we should get a good review on reliability. Bigmegina- hope to hear from you soon! Then all we have to figure out is a decent mag clamp!
  9. They have some real nasty footage of the Tsunami waves throwing around boats, cars and trucks like they are cotton balls. The aftershocks have been high in number and intensity...........Terrible thing for the third largest economy in the World.
  10. Some day when I'm rich and famous, I WILL have a Chaos, but for now I went with this: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=215579719 I'm midway in my conversion, and will put this on when reassembling.
  11. You can also go this route: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=699899 I got the Super Mag one for shooting my steel butt-plated Military Mausers for the same reason you are talking about. I have heard these work quite well. I also have the rubber reducer for the stock. Once my conversion is done, I'll give them both a try.
  12. I'll take the following: 39) Saiga 12 Factory Plug and Protector-$8***** 40) M1 Carbine Sight- $8***** 30) UTG Vertical Grip- $10 33) PSL Flash Hider- $9***** PM and e-mail sent
  13. Thanks for the info KC, I'll CK out E-bay and some other places.......
  14. HI all-- I'm new here and to the Saiga S12, but recently traded and have my first one that needs to be converted. I like to fool around in my late father's machine shop, and was wondering what the thread pitch is for the Saiga 12 barrel. I would like to try my hand in making some sort of muzzle brake or barrel cover using the existing threads. Also, anyone know a cheap source for the thread protectors or taps?? I'm sure it's a Metric thread, and the search function came up with nada. TIA, LOOSENUTS
  15. I'd be interested in getting a few 'kits' too if they're available. I just got my first S12 and had a blast just blowing up giant snow balls from the plow!
