  1. My plan to mod a RS micro red dot mount to cowitness with a PA micro red dot SGL21-61 RS products 2nd gen AK-301 side rail RS products 2nd gen Micro red dot mount Primary Arms Micro red dot I am extremely pleased with the quality of all the above items. This setup in my mind would be the perfect red dot configuration available for the money, but unfortunately the PA micro red dot will not cowitness until the rear sight it set to 500m or higher. With the trajectory of the 7.62X39 having signicant bullet drop out past 300m it's my position cowitness needs to be at minimum

  6. yes yes yes the czech 7.62X45 has been around a long time i know...for fuk sake.... if you all notice it's a lengthened 7.62X39 case...what I am purposing is a full length 5.56 case opened up to accept a 7.62 bullet but maintaines the overall length of the 5.56 so that 5.56 magazines can be utilzed... .300 whisper = 300 blackout = 300 AAC = 7.62X35 czech 7.62X45 = 6mm lengthened 7.62X39 case nevermind....
  7. Inferior in what way? 300blackout/300AAC is 7.62X35 this is essientially 7.62X45. A larger case capacity would decrease pressure for the same load so one could up the powder charge increasing fps. This cartridge could theoritically out perform 300blackout/300AAC in velocity. The downside to this cartridge would you could not use the variety of 7.62 projectiles that the 300blackout/300AAC can. Since the length of the exposed bullet after seating needs to be realitively short to facilitate functioning in 5.56 magazines. However, with the availabity of 30 carbine, 30-30 an
  8. I was thinking about developing this 223 wildcat round. Its main purpose would be a for cheap practice round using plated 30 carbine bullets pushing them around 1800 fps. A load for jacked bullets could be developed which could be 2500 fps + I imagine. Possible names: 300X45, 30 Super Carbine For heavier bullets you could use projectiles developed for the 30-30. Comments?
  9. ......................and DAMN his wife is hot. She's in a bunch of his other vids. He's a lucky man. luck has nothing to do with it....who says money can't buy happiness....

  14. keep those negative reputation votes coming viados....this place is as bad as barfcom..... Thanks to all those that positively contributed to this thread that I started....
  15. so basically what happens is the bore diameter starts out normal and gradually decreases as it reaches the muzzle...this has the affect of swaging the lead bullet down to a smaller caliber as is it travels down the barrel....which increases the pressure of the hot expanding gasses behind the bullet which in turn increases the velocity of the projectile... don't hold me to these numbers their fictitious it's just so u have an idea of what i am talking about... if same ammo was used for the below two examples... normal 22LR barrel: solid lead 40gr bullet leaves barrel at 1250fps with
  16. you're definitely right about the differences in Brinell hardness from batch to batch.... I'll see if I can find the article, scan it and post it to this thread....he got some really interesting results from .22LR.....
  17. BINGO! I always took you for a knowledgeable person... Did you know someone tried it with the .22LR?
  18. Man, you really are a pompous asshole. that statement was not meant to be arrogant...i did not even know such a thing existed until last year....the idea is from the 70's or 80's, can't remember, it never got much attention from what i could tell...i imagine that the idea is so old and never found a niche that there probably is not any info on the subject on the internet... Anyone ever heard of it?
  19. The problem with .22LR and the bump fire stock system is not enough recoil....there's some guys that got the m&p 15-22 to run on youtube but they had to do some modifications and use a lubricant on the sliding mechanism...there is also some guys on youtube with the same gun who could not get it to work...the key is getting that weight down on the overall rifle for .22LR to work...that's why I suggest a turn key 10/22 bumpfire rifle that way they can lighten the rifle enough to increase the recoil impulse...thanks for contributing positively , unlike these others that shit on this thread f
