I dont agree with this point of view. What if someone thought you had a mental issue and called the police on you? I know plenty of "goofy" people doesnt mean they will gear up and go on a shooting spree and doesnt mean they shouldnt be allowed to own guns. If this were so easy people would be calling cops on lots of people it would be like a witch hunt. And "cheers"? Thats a common saying in England as a way of saying "see ya" or "thanks" or when drinking. Ive heard Americans use it in this way too. I think it was his voice mail that bothered him.

First off I wasn't saying "if I was that guy I would've done it like this"..I'm saying that I think of it as "they are very lucky he DIDN'T do it like this" I'm glad the guy was an idiot and really didn't know what he was doing or A LOT more would've died. I'm an asshole because I think of better more efficient ways to do EVERYTHING because I have ONE fuckin arm to work with. How old am I?.....how old are you? Guess you think I'm just some punk kid. You want to AND could "kick my add"? Well even though I only have the one arm, I still know how to and perform an rear naked choke lol

I think its better that he is alive....with him alive they(the media) cant just make it what they want(at least not all the way lol) This was a terrible thing that happened and maybe Im just fucked up in the head, but when shit like this happens in the back of my mind is the thought "if he/she/they would have done it this way there wouldve been more casualties". He popped smoke in the theater, that wouldve made the crowed panic(think yelling fire/bomb in the theater) they wouldve rushed to the exits only to bottle neck and make it easier. As for how he couldve gotten in through the bac

Guy had a vest and was wearing a gas mask, they also say he didnt have a CCW or hunting license, or had any military connection. He waited untill the shooting and explosions started in the movie, then he started. Apparently people thought he was part of a stunt or act and just sat watching him shooting off rounds for a bit. Hard to believe not one person didnt have a weapon on them. I always CCW to the movies and go early to get the top back seats. Easy to say what people whould do if they were there, but Id like to think id push my GF to the ground, and try to engage the shoot

Im sorry but he did the same thing as the other guys, pulled the trigger, doesnt matter if it was with a glock or 1911 or whatever. I love 1911s too, but I carry and trust my Glocks more oh well good thing we can choose eh. All I got from from you was,boo hoo blah blah blah Glocks are bad and they suck, in fact I think that was your intention with this whole thread. Your first question was does it being a Glock have anything to do with it? Are you telling me you couldnt figure it out, that he accidently pulled the trigger, and were wondering if was because it might be a Glock? You were

Yes Mr. Axe it is the design of the guns fault, I mean what were they thinking making it so if you pull the trigger it fires?? That guy fucked up by not paying attention and probably worried about doing his tactical unholster shoot and reholster as fast and as cool looking as he could make it and had his finger in the triggerguard. Glocks are great as well as many others, but shit happens. Heres a dumbass who did the same thing but he was unholstering and he was going for speed and he pulled the trigger. He had a 1911. Bad design????

I saw this movie this weekend, I thought it was pretty good. I like scary movies but this was more than the norm shitty "people killed in the woods" thing. I dont want to give away what happens but the last 30 min are pretty epic as far as horror movies and death scenes go. Please mark spoiler if you are going to write about the plot

I went ahead and bought some food for my FN-awesome SCAR 17. I kept a bunch to shoot and wanted to store some long term. Heres what I did. Each ammo can can hold 400 rounds, so each can I put in 3 100 rounds bags and 2 50 round bags and tossed in a couple d packets for good measure. The bags are half way vac sealed with a food saver with 2 d packets inside. The desiccant packets I made. I went to wally world and bought 100 tea packets for $3, and I already had 900 grams of silica gel beads from a few years back which were bright pink when I put them in the oven for 4 hour

Ammo storage long term
GREYLUPO replied to GREYLUPO's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I already use sealed ammo cans with des packs, only difference is Im going to take them out of the boxes and vac seal them. Everything Ive read said for long term its better to take them out of the cardboard boxes. -
I know some of you are storing ammo for later down the road, maybe for future ammo cost / restriction, SHTF ect. How are you guys going about it? Id like to store ammo for cals I dont have, like 556 or .22 but now can only afford the cals I shoot, mostly 9mm, 12 gauge and 7.62x51mm. For the last few years I woud just use old school ammo cans with good seals and keep the ammo in the boxes, but it takes up a lot of room especially for the 7.62. Ive decided to go and buy one of those vacuum sealer machines like the foodsaver and go that route. Im confident that itll keep them nice and fr
