  1. I could be wrong but it is my understanding that when you shoot at the Wyoming antelope club in Clearwater on Saturdays or any day it is considered a public range day, you must shoot long guns from the bench rest position which to me is pointless when shooting the S12. However on Thursday nights they have what they call action shotgun which I think is considered a club event and I believe they allow you to stand up and shoot. I will try and confirm this info and add to it if needed, it definitely sounds like its worth checking out.
  2. From personal experience my opinion is that the most important piece to the puzzle is that your gun must be properly gassed. You can have your parts professionally polished and re-profiled by Pauly (OR COBRA, or others....) and spend all your money on aftermarket gas plugs, pistons, pucks springs or anything else you can find and it wont help to make your s12 reliable if it doesn't have properly drilled gas ports. My idea of a reliable s12 is to be able to feed it ANY ammo and to have it feed, fire and eject flawlessly. If you have a "vodka special" that is not properly gassed, your first step
  3. How in the hell do you lose track of a 100 S12's? They had to be stolen, I hope the asswipe(s) involved go down hard. The Saiga community does not need this kind of stuff now. I am not involved in any way but I am still completely pissed that this could even happen!
  4. It looks like soon we are going to be talking about the good old days when you could buy a Saiga 12 at just about any gun shop for $800 or any price for that matter!
  5. More Draco porn. Wish this was mine but its not, don't have one yet! This is the picture of the first Draco I ever saw and I knew then I needed one. Why? Because, that's why! Draco AK pistol.bmp
  6. I would be in for a shooting trip down to Sarasota, sounds like a blast! when and where?
  7. I would like to see more pictures of any hard chrome Dracos out there. I really would like to see on in person, I'm thinking pictures are not doing them justice. I want to get my own Draco, probably from classic they have the best deal Ive seen so far, I just don't know how much I like the hard chrome yet. They are definitely unique and would be so much fun to own.
  8. Can someone post a list of non DD states. All I do know is I am keeping my Saiga 12, period! I have waited too long and spent too much money to let our government take it away from me. If you don't believe in your government at least believe in your country!
  9. Awesome work Cameron! I cant wait to add a Chaos TITAN to my setup it wont be long now... sorry I had to stop and clean up my drool puddle, before it ruins my keyboard!
  10. Hey Rokkyt where do you shoot at gateway? Im interested in a new place to shoot, not too many of them in pinellas county to have any fun with the Saiga 12.
  11. I had to google search it and did not find it right away but here is the thread that has lots more info, including why they are not making 8 rounders yet. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/23028-keepshootingcom-saiga-12-magazines/
  12. That's your opinion. Theirs is probably different.
  13. It seems I read somewhere that the official response from them was something like it was not worth it, ie cost effective to make 8 rounders. Cant remember where I saw that so hopefully I'm wrong and they are already working on it.
  14. If that technique does work in a saiga magazine. I wonder how many I can shoot at my local indoor range before they figure out its actually birdshot and throw my ass out?
  15. I also bought two of these and they are awesome, by far best bang for your buck. I did have to file and fit them the same way I had to fit my MD arms drum, no big deal. Now they fit great no wiggle and the best part is they work great too. I have had zero malfunctions so far related to the magazine and I am really hoping they come out with an 8 round copy soon. I really would like a russian 8 rounder but they are damn expensive and I don't need them that bad. So memo to keepshooting.com from all of your happy customers please get us the 8 rounders as soon as possible because we want them yeste
  16. Same here. I cannot seem to break the habit now. I have been saying SAY-GUH for a long time and I have heard a Russian say it correctly SIGH-GUH but I think its to late for me. So if you don't like the way I say it oh well your probably ignorant too
  17. 34698 for me for now. What I want to know is why is it so hard to find local gunsmiths or even gunshops that know more than I do about the Saiga 12? Almost everything I know I learned from this forum and now I realize if I want something done to my shotgun I will have to do it myself. I am still looking for a local gunsmith just in case.
  18. Yes it is legal to own, depending on where you live. So check your local laws.
  19. nice video post... I have never heard of cut shells before watching that. pretty cool!
  20. I got a converted one off gunbroker paid $657 shipped. This was back in September, at the time I did not know how good that price was. Now it looks like a steal so get them now while you still can it will be worth it!
  21. by far daniel17319 you have the scariest looking avatar I have seen, it is going to give me nightmares! I don't know what I can do to get that image out of my head but I must do something immediately!
  22. Here is an update to my In Range review. I am not complaining but in the interest of full disclosure this is what I know now. Starting with the biggest issue, here my list pertaining to the Saiga 12 1. In Range apparently did not preform a gas port check. I know this because recently I figured out the gun only has two ports. Not a huge problem but now I had to ship it to Cadiz Gun Works for warranty work. Gas ports should have been checked and modified at time of conversion if necessary to insure function and reliability. JMO! The next two really are not even worth mentioning but I wil
  23. Nice video... makes me realize i don't have enough drums and mags yet
