  1. +1...probably the stock. Mine wasn't straight either. After the conversion, my K-var is perfectly straight.
  2. Is it possible the the round BG for the 7.62 would work in the 5.45?
  3. Thanks! Same here. Otherwise I would've left it out. It would definitely get irritating for righty shooters.
  4. First conversion. Just finished it today. Kept the bolt hold open in it.
  5. It was pretty much Russia's answer to the 5.56. It's basically the 7.62 case shrunk to accept a 5.45 bullet. Long story short, it lacks the punch of the 7.62 but has better accuracy and a flatter trajectory. Some even think it has better ballistics than the 5.56, which is debatable. Just google it. There are countless threads on it. Or you could just look 4 threads down... http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=60947&pid=581289&st=0entry581289
  6. They're out if the surplus euros too. Glad I stocked up when I did.
  7. Just pulled her apart today. Mine does indeed have precut trigger and PG nut holes. It's probably safe to assume by this point that most if not all Legions are precut?
  8. Sweet, looks like I have a good chance of having precut holes.
  9. Heh, I didn't even realize I had a Legion Saiga until I read this thread. Sweet. I hope that means my trigger and grip nut holes are already cut.
  10. This is what I do. My 870 w/ 18.5" barrel is the first thing I'm reaching for.
  11. Mind throwing up some pics? I'd like to see what the finish looks like.
  12. Cope's now has Ulyanovsk, Brown Bear and Golden Tiger in stock for $99.99/500rds which ends up being around $0.216 per round shipped. Not the absolute cheapest, but I'm willing to pay a little more to buy from a place that doesn't require the ID garbage.
  13. I've got 2, and have another 3 on the way. Feed great, lock great, minimal wobble...not much to complain about. Seem plenty sturdy to me. Anyone have any experience with the Euros they sell, though? Much of a difference?
  14. That would actually be closer to $0.18 a round.
  15. Round, April '09 paperwork, '09 receiver.
