  1. i have a question for people on the UTG rails as well. did anyone else have noticeable gap between the top rail and the bottom rails that required more tightening that if looks like it should?
  2. i took a rubber mallet to mine while it was still on the gun just give it a good whack on the round part and keep trying it until you like it.
  3. i'll be getting my utg rail in tomorrow supposedly. can't wait to put it on and show you guys. amazon had a sale on them for some reason.
  4. also forgot to add don't get caught up on anything or you just might end up chocking yourself to death. I always get new boots coming in thinking its a great idea to replace their dog tag chains with 550 cord.
  5. that pretty nice, usually don't see much of those unless on deployment and bored out of your mind during a lot of downtime.
  6. my first day with my saiga i went out with 250 rounds of cheapo wally world winchester universal birdshot ran on gas setting 2 the whole day next time out ran 150 mixed batch of everything from buck to bird on gas setting 1 no problem. post conversion i took her out again and she can still run everything on gas setting 1.
  7. is it past the break in period yet? how many times have you hand cycled it?
  8. that actually and kinda easy one to miss after the first time it happens. but i would have gone into remedial action after i reloaded the first time and it didn't fire again. i couldn't notice anything like an audible pop. but i'll never trust reloaded ammo that doesn't have a QC requirement.
  9. all we need now is a .50 BMG saiga and i'll be happier than a terrorist in a bomb shop
  10. i dunno if i can pos tthe link but on the k-var page they are spouting some crazy blasphemy. this is their headline THE LAST FEW UNITS AVAILABLE, ACT NOW!!!
  11. Did you wear knee pads? most of our guys only wore 1 knee pad for the knee that we naturally went down on, some POG staff sergeant was all uppidy asking why didn't we wear both if we were issued 2, i simply took a knee and got back up he never asked about knee pads again. Did most your day packs include hydration units? out in afghan we had camelbacks and if you wanted to you could bring your canteens, but we drank from contracted water bottle service all the time, ALL THE TIME. so much damn water bottles. Normally did you carry any food like candy bars if for nothing else to keep
  12. yeah it's almost scary how little pressure i need to fire. I'm used to my M16A4 and there being a point where the trigger has a noticeable stop in the slack of the trigger. i guess this just means faster pew pew rate.
  13. nah, did a functions check and it's perfectly fine. I just gotta make sure to really pay attention to my trigger finger like i usually do anyways now.
  14. does anyone even know what i'm talking about?
