  1. You would pay extra for the Jeric Last Round Bolt Hold Open and this would be advertised as such. Again, the advertisement will tell you if it has a choke package or is a threaded vs non-threaded barrell. All sights will be fixed. Hope this helps.
  2. http://natchezss.com/ammo.cfm?contentID=pr...p;prodID=CC3570 CCI BLAZER 45 ACP 230GR FMJ $10.89/box can be had at the above link. This seems like a tremendous BARGAIN!!! What am I missing? Are there FTF or problems with reloading? Why so cheap? Your input solicited and appreciated. I am 1911 for a reason.
  3. D = "Delta" "D" for drum. How about Delta Mag? Wonder if you'd get sued?
  4. I know many have lusted after and wanted a magwell adapter. Why one has not been forthcoming is a mystery to me. Perhaps someone will come up with one that will require only a small alteration to allow your current mags to be used. Wouldn't that be nice?
  5. Good to hear! May I suggest moving this thread to cold storage? It interferes with my "happy" thought processes.
  6. If 2 3/4" is ready to go, then let it fly. It is an easy thing to load a stick mag with 3" if they were a needed item for some special situation. In the academic world it is said, "Publish or Perish". The best route for you seems to be get on the market and add options later. You could always add a nice carry case like the Beta mag has. Will your spring be similiar to the Beta Mag? I have been very satified with that design. Best of luck as we patiently wait.
  7. Additional anti-gun laws are simply the agenda of the media and the liberal establishment. Logic and reason have nothing to do with it. You could just as well argue that we need to ban all people on student visas, have more access to God and prayer in our schools, or blame it on the hate-filled democrats. Either way, I just hope folks are smart enough to see the media and the dems using this terrible stituation for political fodder and that the real answer lies in an armed citizenry ala the constitution.
  8. Fantastic news! Thanks so much for posting! This will have far reaching import for all gun owners.
  9. Here's the appropriate Texas Regulation - "Legal Shotgun: Shotguns not larger than 10 gauge, fired from the shoulder, and incapable of holding more than 3 shells (shotguns capable of holding more than 3 shells must be plugged with a one-piece filler which is incapable of removal without disassembling the gun, so the gun's total capacity does not exceed 3 shells)." Have fun, don't worry, be happy!

  11. Hello once again. It is interesting that 293 people thought this thread was worth opening and I assume agreed that it was "Good to have the Saiga Forum back". They are trying to raise a few bucks now to run the board. If each member who read this thread donated just $10 it should add a nice bit to the war chest. I just sent mine, won't you as well. Happy New Year to everyone! 1911 (Jeff R.)
  12. Go here and look at post #6 http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=13608
  13. Yep, got mine today. Spring open enough to start and tap with the back of my pocket knife and they went right on. Three needed, three received and three installed. Great guys and great product.
  14. :rolleyes:Clearly the website of the year! http://www.willitblend.com/videos.aspx?type=unsafe I recommend the Crowbar video
  15. Excuse my ignorance, but what the heck is that? Mock up, real deal, graphic? See what happens when I sleep!
  16. Try http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showto...mp;#entry109991 Also, try out the exotic new search feature using the member Jumikuula for the member name. Still finding neat stuff on this new version of the board.
  17. I just spoke with Russian American Armory and had an interesting conversation. They indicated that they did not intend to import 8 rd mags from Russia, no surprise. However, they indicated they were working with 3 different companies to produce high capacity magazines in the U.S. (AGP?) and these should be available around March of '07. A fellow named Clyde Woods is working on that and he will be back next Tuesday. They also indicated that they had no intention of importing the mag-well version of the Saiga and that the factory is continuing to produce the AK-47 style Saiga 12. I don't kn
  18. It is quite common for Ebayers to figure their profit into the s/h. Any profit on the item becomes lagniappe. Lets you advertise a low price and get more results. Just how the game works.
  19. Too late. The 25 he had left are now sold.
  20. Are we seeing a saturation point on 10 rd mags? I notice there are 15 for sale on Ebay and only five have a bid on them. Not long ago everything labeled Saiga Mag was snapped up in short order. Seems to be a good thing to me.
  21. Just to clarify something, the $200 price includes the magwell and an 8 rd magazine. He sells the individual magazine at $110 which would impute a $90 price to the magwell. Expensive but less than half of the price being bandied about.
  22. Just to gum up the thought processes. Vector Arms takes imported HK parts and assembles them to a US made receiver and they have made an American Made Firearm. Perfectly legal. Perhaps the key lies in the country of origin of the receiver.
