    Ammo Question

Don't shoot live ammo, unless you are a demo expert and are positive a ricochet will not harm you or the people that live in the house a qaurter of a mile from your lil' range!
  9. Well the best to you. I don't think that the Vepr II is as good as the Vepr "I". The Vepr II only has 20" barrel. Great for plinky or a brush gun, but lacking the extra 4 inches the semi-auto needs for bolt gun accuracy you want! They know longer make the Vepr "I", the 24 inch barrel model for import. What I have is a rare bird. I have heared a lot of complaints about the Vepr II' accuracy. With the loss of 4" of rifiling accuracy is more in the 2.5 MOA range. Medicore if you ask me. Once you drop your $529 plus tax and shipping and dealer fee's you'll be more in the $650 range. Plus you'll
  10. I have a two VEPR's in .308 and I love them. Accuracy is better than M1A or G3/CETME. I only use Hertenberger(Austrian) and South African Ammo, supposed to be the very best of the cheap stuff. Accuracy is better than 1.25(MOA) at 100 meters! Thats groups I fired with the adjustable iron sights. The groups I fired with the 8x42 PSOP sniper scope are equivalant and better at 300-600 meters! If you want to know a secret; I am in need of some major cash for a very special project and will be willing to let go the newer of the two Vepr's. This Vepr ONLY has two boxes through it!!!!! It is set
  11. I have the model you want $200 + S&H to you tommorow if you want it. Excellent condition in case, never used, NO BOX or manual. SORRY! Manual was in russian I struggled reading it with my poor russian skills and threw it away. You can down load an english version real easy. Anyways if you passed 5th grade and ever used an american scope and played old Atari games you'll figure it out in about ten seconds flat! Rock47
  12. ps- IF YOU TRY TO MOUNT ANYTHING OTHER THAN A RUSSIAN SCOPE TO THOSE CDNN MOUNTS, YOU WILL BE SORRY! ONLY MOUNT RUSSIAN SCOPES TO THEM! ANY OTHER SCOPE WILL NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO PAPER! THERE IS NOT ENOUGH CROSS-HAIR MOVMENT IN COMMON SCOPES SOLD HERE IN THE USA.
  13. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! tHOSE SCOPE MOUNTS CDNN SELLS FOR $38.99 ARE WAY OFF OF ZERO OUT OF THE BOX, IF YOU TRY TO MOUNT ANYTHING TO THEM YOU'LL BE SWIMMING YOUR CROSS HAIRS AROUND FOR DAYS TO FIND THE BULL'S EYE! bUY A DESIGNATED RUSSIAN SCOPE/MOUNT LIKE THE PSO SERIES IN 4X, 6X, AND 8X. YOU GET A SCOPE WITH PLENTY OF CROSS-HAIR PLAY AND IT WAS A SPECIFIC DESIGN FOR SIDE MOUNT RAILS ON AK'S AND SVD'S. plus YOU GET A SCOPE AND MOUNT FOR UNDER $150, MORE LIKE $125 FOR THE 6X AND LESS THAN $100 FOR THE 4X PSO-1'S. tRUST ME i KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT ON THIS.
  14. Sold it the other day with three mags a scope mount and 4x shotgun scope for $250!
  15. I have opened up my mags and shave down the bottom of the follower and the protruding plug that come up from the top half of the floorplate to allow more springingness to a loaded five round mag. AND YES if I shave enough off I could in theory load six rounds in the mag, I GUESS! Also you need to clean your Saiga shotguns more than you think, there is a lot of debri that can come from a fired shotgun hull and could make your Saiga sluggish. Another trick I have is to have two mags straped together with a G3 mag clamp for quiker reloads. AND YES! The Saiga definately needs a last r
  16. YIPPY< IT FAILED! Fiensteins PORK killed it, she wanted to permanently install the AWB, that Jerk has a bigger ego than any guy I know. Have you noticed that you never see Diane Feinstein and Joseph Stalin at the same place at the same time, do you think they are the same person?
  17. Do you like shooting with your face on the butt stock or off? If you want to shoot with your face on the butt stock the go with the side mount, plus the cheap weaver rail side mounts are eactly that, CHEAP! A good side-rail mount costs about $80-$100 and that is more than 75% of the cost of a Kobra sight. By two Kobra's for $260 shipped OR buy one Kobra weaver base $129 and one descent side-rail with a weaver rail for $95 for a total of $224, save only $36 this way! Do I make sense?
  18. My current prototype will definately not work in a Saiga shotgun, but I am working on a model that will, but i am afraid that it will require some internal mods to the receiver cross brase, really no biggies there but it won't be a true drop-in, more like a drop-in with minor fitting. I got to tell you that I am on something big here and I will not be abel to meet anybodys expectations for a few months, but when I do have them available for market, you'll be wanting one for every Kalashnikov you own, garunteed!
