The UTG made in USA quad rails are about $70 and are very nice. Except the rail covers which are way to thick

I am proud to be a union member. But, this isn't the place for that discussion.

It's been quiet here lately. Hopefully that means nobody's having problems

Great to know RAAC backs their product

How old is the gun? XN or pre-XN?

I have always been more than satisfied with your products Tony. Including my MKA trigger and disconnector, and Saiga parts. Sorry to see you move away from the MKA.

Hi SteveUK.It's great to hear from a UK MKA owner. You may already know this: These parts may or may not smooth our shotguns. (No claim was made at least, correct me if I'm wrong) US regulations require a foreign firearm to have a certain number of US parts before we can have high capacity magazines (ten or more for shotguns) a pistol grip, flash suppressor's, bayonet lugs and folding and/or adjustable butt stocks. It's a Federal thing known as 922r. So, some parts, like the gas piston are easily changed for domestic parts, only to comply with the 922r regulation.

Very very nice. Let us know about the Mako GL

I heated my XN's guide rod with a heat gun and it came out easily with a stud puller. I filed a bit of the alignment pin on the back plate instead of drilling the receiver. I had to dremel some plastic inside the upper in the front to clear the barre,l maybe 1/8". No problems with the op rod nuts on mine. I haven't put rails on yet. I think the shorter handguard and operating rod drops a few ounces probably. I like the fit and feel over the stock handguard. Oh yeah the guide rod is solid.

I don't know much about them, but after I read this thread: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/87394-mka-1919-lower-replacement/ I'd be hesitant.

Here's another aluminum hinge, at half that price: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002TUSDQ2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1368756968&sr=8-1&pi=SL75 I'd buy a steel version, but not for $200. I have a Bonesteel folding stock on my Saiga, it is a high quality folder. They only make a flash hider for AR's though.

Are these made of steel? How thick is the hinge pin? Thanks

Oops wrong thread

I need one uncut Saiga mag catch from a .223 rifle only Thanks

I found some info with Google on modded MKA barrels: Gabe Suarez's TSD modded some MKA-1919's for a while when they first came out. http://tsdcombatsystems.pwmclients.com/combat-shotguns/ Does anyone here have one?

It looks great! It's a nice change from all black

Ok. Thanks. I'm putting lube where the bolt and bolt carrier contact the reciever. Anything else? My other long guns are AK's, and I'm guessing these need more attention.
-
Hi all. I looked for answers, all I've seen are comments on running them wet. What do you lube your MKA with? Where do you lube and how much. Yhanks

Gotta see video of that!

Here's my mongrel. Salem 6 handguard, S&W M&P stock (with a Limbsaver snap on pad) on Firebird stock adapter, XN upper on Firebird recycled (pre-XN) lower with metal feed ramp. Tromix hand grip adapter, gas piston and trigger/disconnector set. Cole Saiga 12 choke adapter with (made in USA) Saiga clone muzzle device. Tried the T + N bolt handle but it needs more work.
