AGP mags are great.I own 2 of the first run and 2 from the second run.Each one has fired 100 rds each and with zero issues.AGP even sent me the replacement feed lips that the first run that needed replacement. It is a wonder why AGP does not post on these forums.... (A little hint,I was using sarcasm in the last line)

Not to get on your shit list or anything....I just brought home my first Saiga (7.62 16" Sporter) Been taking to the group about converting....but really for me, I only just want to use a 30 rd. mag legally right now. No PG or anything, if I don't have to. So as I pick up my gun tonight...the guy at the shop (near Houston) says...."Texas has no size limit on mags. you can use a 30rd. mag. (even one made by Saiga, which he trided to sell me). Mine came w/ 1, 10 rd. mag., and I bought 1 more tonight just for grins. Thanks, BS012 No shit

The 7.62x25 is what I have been thinking about in a build.Tell us more about it. What did you do for a barrel etc?
