think HOT SPRINGS its the best place in Ar to live. Nice, but touristy. I'm thinking a couple hundred acres back in the Ozarks with 10 mean dogs and a big KEEP OUT sign.

I've obtained several relatively unusual mags from Keepshooting in the past. They are reputable. It doesn't seem unreasonable to decide cautiously before committing several hundred thousand dollars to a deal. The wheels of commerce turn slowly in Russia. If they go ahead with it, things may take a while. How about, "Thanks for the feedback guys. We'll get back to you as soon as we make our decision."

It must be remembered that most police chiefs and heads of police organizations are political appointees. That the "organization" or "department" supports the bill only means that a few politicians with badges support it. You do realize that reclassification would be a national thing, don't you? The NFA is a federal law, and the ATF is a federal lea. Some states don't allow DDs so a reclassification would result in people in those states losing their S-12s. But the rest of us would have to register our S-12s, whatever state we're in. So where do you suggest we move if we don't want our Saigas reclassified? Of course this discussion (such as it is) is probably moot since it appears the ATF will only consider an S-12 a DD if you have a drum with it.
