  1. this reminds me of article in Vice magazine several months back. Vice is all about irreverent humour but they also report on some weird subjects that no one else will even discuss. here is the article about General Butt Naked and some of the other crazy (to us) groups that have been going at it in West Africa for the better part of a decade now. some of this stuff is absolutely mindblowing to us. Not the recoil, it just feels "springy". I like a heavier steel 1911 type pistol. +1 i couldn't have said this any better. ( i'm biased against plastic guns & DAO guns but will concede the good points of the Glock.)
  3. great selection of targets here: Reload Bench Targets sorry if it's already been posted.
  4. i'm in St. Pete/Tampa. i'm new around here (the forum) but am absolutely hooked on my new S12 and am getting the funds together for the S308. the Manatee range is great but such a drive from here! the Wyoming antelope club is in Pinellas Park & they have pretty cool facilities but last time i went, they only let you load one round at a time. that's right folks, shooting your AK like a bolt gun. sounds like fun, right?

i only see one problem with these S308s. they're not mine! nice job on the sniper. i'm glad you posted about the dragunov stock. i've been thinking about one for my unconverted S12. here's the link to Kalinka's accessories. they might have what you need for your scope: Kalinka
  6. looks like a lot of people are buying them & turning a profit on Ebay.
  7. let me know how it goes. i love netflix and will never spend another dime at blockbuster if i can help it. what prompted the switch?
  8. --> QUOTE(G O B @ Feb 14 2007, 11:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Mosins are sighted in WITH the bayonet ON!. My 31 shot 18" high and 14" right. The rifle is pretty accurate- you just need to get a tall front sight pin.file for height and drift windage.. The M38's with no provision for a bayonet are right on and a hoot to shoot-they make wonderfull fireballs! ditto on that. you need to make sure you get that bayonet on your M44 before it will shoot the way it should. i just took my M38 out last week. it shoots excellent groups with new production Wolf and pretty good groups with
  9. Give Mark (Krebs) a call and tell him to read this post and if he thinks it's worth it, buy me a couple of 10rounders for the WONDERFUL KREBS S-12! hey neubert, where do you live in TN (approximately)? i grew up in Norris. i also just got my first S12. my first words after leaving the range were "damn! i've got to buy some more of these!"
  10. 2 questions: 1.are the mags in stock like your site says or is there going to be a manufacturing delay? 2.can we phone our orders in? thanks!
  11. hey gary. i'm kind of new to the forum but this topic caught my eye. i just got a PLR a few weeks ago. the first time i took it out, it ran fine through one magazine, then it started having problems with failure to ejects & failure to fires. it felt like it was getting dry & rough as it cycled so i put it away for the day. i disassembled it that night & noticed quite a bit of brass shavings all in the chamber & even some under the extractor (which is what i suspected). i cleaned it out & lubed it up properly & took it out last monday (also got some nicer mags). it ran t
