this reminds me of article in Vice magazine several months back. i'm in St. Pete/Tampa. i'm new around here (the forum) but am absolutely hooked on my new S12 and am getting the funds together for the S308. the Manatee range is great but such a drive from here! the Wyoming antelope club is in Pinellas Park & they have pretty cool facilities but last time i went, they only let you load one round at a time. that's right folks, shooting your AK like a bolt gun. sounds like fun, right?

hey gary. i'm kind of new to the forum but this topic caught my eye. i just got a PLR a few weeks ago. the first time i took it out, it ran fine through one magazine, then it started having problems with failure to ejects & failure to fires. it felt like it was getting dry & rough as it cycled so i put it away for the day. i disassembled it that night & noticed quite a bit of brass shavings all in the chamber & even some under the extractor (which is what i suspected). i cleaned it out & lubed it up properly & took it out last monday (also got some nicer mags). it ran t
