  3. I've got a warsaw length stock on my S12. I'm only 5'6" but the LOP is still too short. Since there is no better option (other than that huge universal slip on rubber pad), I want a small grind-to-fit pad fitted to my stock. I know the stock needs to be squared off, and the pad will need some serious size reduction, but i know it's possible. Will someone who has done this before do mine if I pay you? Or would I be better off finding a good local gunsmith?
  4. it was a great movie with a realistic, non-glamorized, very mundane ending. such is life often times, and i think that may be the message they're trying to convey here. just my 2 cents.
  5. Just a question here to toss out for everyone's amusement. I'm wondering what ya'll got tucked away in the SHTF stash? Guns, ammo, supplies, M1 Abrams, Dillon M134D, etc.? Also, apart from a nationwide zombie outbreak, what is the anticipated use of your SHTF stash? Seriously though. . .
  6. I need some clarification here. I've heard some discussion on the boards about placing NFA firearms (SBS, SBR, AOW, etc.) in the ownership of trusts rather than individuals. Because my knowledge of this option is very limited, please start with the basics and explain the costs, benefits, and legal aspects of this option. I could probably google it all, but this forum is too full of useful knowledge. Thanks for the help.
  7. I've got a PolyTech set for sale. Check my recent postings. PM me for more info.
  8. This is exactly what the stock set looks like, except it has no grip screw.
  9. The mag is $30 shipped CONUS. I prefer not to ship the ammo, it weighs too much and is expensive to ship, but I imagine it would be in the range of $35 shipped. That would bring your total to roughly $65 shipped (as an estimate). You noticed the mag is 9x19 and the ammo is 9x18?
  10. - PolyTech AK-47 Stock Set - Brand new, blonde wood - Complete set - For stamped receiver - $110 shipped - Rubber AK buttpad 1" (allows access to trap door, may not work with some synthetic stocks) - $10 shipped - Glock 17 magazine - 33rd - Scherer brand - Lightly used - SOLD - 9x18 ammo, 150 rds - $20, local pickup only (Tulsa) Will consider reasonable offers or trades for S308 mags.
  11. if youre anywhere near tulsa i can meet you for the P3AT. otherwise i can pick one up at a gun show for the same price it would cost me for yours plus shipping and transfer fees.
  12. is the ergo grip black? and is it hard plastic or rubber overmold? if its black with rubber overmold i'll take it.
  13. michael, be careful selling on these forums without being a contributor ($5 does the job). you may get hassled by some guys. check the for sale section, just scroll down on the forum's main page. if you want an auction side, try gunbroker.com or auctionarms.com. hope that helps. matt
  14. - SOLD Browning Buckmark 10rd magazine, almost new (98%) - Bianchi AccuMold holster, fits 5.5" Buckmarks and Mark IIs, like new, $25 shipped Buy both for $45 shipped CONUS (pictures taken from midwayusa.com) (cross-posted on rimfirecentral.com for $26ea shipped)
  15. I'm referring to the FBMG mags. The factory 8's fit great.
  16. Can a good gunsmith tweak the mag well on my Saiga 308 so it better fits the aftermarket magazines? I just hate the idea of clunky and wobbly magazines, and I really don't wanna wrap each mag in electrical tape. I want a smooth clean gun. Suggestions?
  17. I found the absolute perfect 8rd magazine pouches at my local army surplus. They are dutch made camo with belt loops. I found them available on this website: http://www.globalarmysurplus.com/produits_...&cat_main=3
  18. They must have recently added new products to their lineup. They have them for sale on gunbroker and they're listed on their website. They now have AGP mag couplers, a rail forend, and a muzzle breacher type attachment. I'm not advertising here, just reporting some info to whoever didn't already know.
  19. someone explain that handgun. i know its custom, but what is it?
  20. I've heard some people here say their FBMGs wobble quite a bit. Others say they fit tight. So is the variation in the guns or in the mags? Mine wobble quite a bit front-to-back and side-to-side, but the factory 8rd mags fit nice and snug. I haven't fired with the FBMG mags yet, but I hear the looseness won't effect the reliability. Still, I don't like loose mags. Is there a fix? Suggestions?
