  1. Vit is right, its up for sale now, complete with pictures. I'm a business man, I buy and sell things, so I figured this could be a win-win for me and the buyer. Eventually its gonna go on gunbroker if I don't get any takers here.

  3. moderator please delete this post. i double posted and this one doesn't have the pics i wanted.
  4. This ammo is Indian made. I do not know if it is corrosive or not. The brass isn't very clean. The headstamp on the ammo reads "7.62 M80 97 OFV". It is packaged in sealed plastic 10rd packs, and there are 18 loose rounds. I have never had a misfire with this ammo. My price for the ammo plus the ammo box (in excellent condition) is $80 local pickup from Tulsa, or I will ship for the actual shipping cost to legal states.
  5. okent, i think it was me you saw at the show. the cetme refinished the wood and i was carrying around an assault rifle case on my back. were you one of the guys who asked me about it?
  6. I'm too excited about the deal I got on a saiga that I just had to come on here and tell everyone. I was at the Sooner gun show in Tulsa today, and I noticed a guy walking around with an odd looking saiga. It's got the longer barrel, no choke and no threading, and a synthetic stock with a brown/tan camo job which looks to be from the factory. The gun had 15 rounds through it and included 3 5rd mags. I asked him if it was for sale, and he said only if I was a serious buyer. So I asked his price, and he tells me $325. I offer $300 cash, and he agrees. I also traded my CETME for a 16.3" Saiga 308
  7. We need some ballistics, wound cavity, penetration, and accuracy results. I would do some testing, but my gun is @ Tromix.
  8. Has anyone tried these out? If so, share your thoughts and results. They look wicked. http://ammunitiontogo.com/catalog/product_...roducts_id=1266
  9. Dibs on 2 of the 8 rounders if nobody buys the entire package. Name your price.
  10. Fat Tire Amber Ale from New Belgium Brewery, Fort Collins, CO
  11. sounds like you could use an extra set of hands in your shop. you should hire someone . . . like me. i live in tulsa.
  12. New stock of Barnaul .308 available @ http://ammunitiontogo.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_100
  13. I didn't know there were so many: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,266371,00.html
  14. Anyone watching the press conference? It's live on foxnews.com. These reporters are actink like preschoolers; asking irrelevant, insensitive questions without any respect for the lifes lost. They need to stop talking.
  15. I would never waste my money on one. Shoot, its almost as expensive as the gun itself! It's probably insanely heavy and although its machined from aluminum, it looks like a stinkin' erector set was used to assemble it. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.
  16. Choose the biggest need you have. If your choice isn't listed, please discuss it here.
  17. I've got an FEG PA-63 in 9x18 and its reliability with surplus JHP ammo has been perfect. It's a good cheap shooter.
  18. What if you chambered it in .410? I know there are two revolvers (Taurus makes one called "The Judge" and ThunderFive makes another one) made to fire .410/.45lc. They both have rifled barrels. I don't see why an autoloader would be any less legal.
  19. Good info DocV. You make some really valid points. Too bad no one in the US produces surplus ammo for the same price of Wolf, Silver/Brown Bear, or Golden Tiger.
  20. Just my skepticism here, but maybe it's accurate: I know Izhmash isn't exporting much to the US lately. I also know they are a big supplier for the Russian military. Perhaps as of lately, they are heavily focused on producing arms for the Russian military and their allies. If that's true, could that mean they are supplying weapons which may directly be used against Israel? If so, I don't feel as quite as thrilled to own their products. Too bad they aren't made in the US. But I still love my Saiga! Any thoughts, info, or feedback?

  22. Can any rifle barrel be chopped down to SBR length if you do all the paperwork and pay the $200 tax?
  23. Good luck finding one at a gun show. I was just at the Wanenmacher show in Tulsa (the worlds largest w/ thousands of tables) and I only found 2 S-12's in the whole place! I picked one up for $400. If you can find one, I'd buy it.
