  1. Nice build. I like that Samson rail you have on there.
  2. This link will show you how to remove the original FCG. http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/Step_2.htm
  3. The stock i have is milled aluminum and has the USA stamp near the sling swivel. Oh, awesome. Got a link to the site, if you don't mind? I'm sorry, I have no link for it. It was made by First Son Enterprises I found it at an Eastman Gun Show in Atlanta.
  4. The stock i have is milled aluminum and has the USA stamp near the sling swivel.
  5. uhhhh yeah im gunna do that.. that handgaurd is fkin sweet I agree with you about that handguard, the tapco doesn't even compare to it. I modded my tapco saiga/galil handguard a little more to my taste on my .410
  6. I found a picture of a Saiga Galil conversion that i believe was done by Red Jacket, You may be able to contact them for parts.
  7. He is having another raffle this time a AR. http://racinepost.blogspot.com/2007/12/rif...t-everyone.html
  8. But the fact its uses the same mags as the saiga-12 makes our supply weak if they send them to combat.
  9. This has been talked about on this page all ready. really cool as a stand alone weapon. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=21193&hl=
  10. Maybe he will have a raffle for the Saiga on the shelf behind him. And listen to the whining idiot protesting the raffle.
  11. Ever noticed that the picture they show has a sidefolder rear latch and trunnion.
  12. Nice snowman, you can keep all that snow away from me but i would love to help blow the crap out of it too. lol
  13. I dug up some pictures of some saiga "sporters" with the 3rd auto sear hole in place. I wonder if cool4x4's came from this batch
  14. Cool thats awesome then if they can back it with ATF approval, That would probally make your saiga the most unique one on the site.
  15. Yeah I strongly agree with Bvamp about contacting the importer RAA about it. A 3rd axis pin hole left open, pinned, welded then ground smooth still constitutes a "Machinegun" receiver even after that hole is permantly plugged. It was probaly never destined to reach the states and fell through the cracks at customs like the MAK 90s did and the batch of S-12s that had a BBL of 17.5". I wonder if it is some sort of supply and demand problem that they decomission machineguns for export.
  16. The Y stamp alone is fine, Its only when there is a hole in that location that it becomes "A machinegun". I personally wasn't too interested in the dimples and the Y stamp at first but now i want one to make a 99% accurate ak-103 clone.
  17. F/A being Full Auto? No it's not. I think it's an '06. There's nothing on that 3rd pin, the one through the Y stamp. What numbers? There's a three digit number behind the charging handle that matches the last three digits of the serial number. As I understand it, the dimples and Y stamp on a 16" are pretty rare, right? What does this pin through the Y stamp mean? Thanks! Matt Nice rare saiga receiver you have there just that it is classified as a machine gun with that 3rd hole no matter if its pinned or welded. ATF may want to have it demilled. I aslo saw somethin
  18. A 3rd pin through the Y stamp. Is yours F/A?
  19. Welcome to the forum, A good place to check for brakes and othe misc stuff is http://www.dinzagarms.com as well as http://www.saigastock.com . BHO you can leave in just make sure you grind down the tapco hammer so it will fit right.
  20. The dimples add to a almost identical Ak 101 clone good score Micah360
  21. I have a UTG as well but its the one with 3 allen bolts to snug it up.
  22. I usually try to go at least 2 times a month but i usually take different or all my weapons with me at a time i usually put about 150 rds through each semiauto rifle and handgun and about 50 rounds for my lever and bolt actions and revolver. Gets too expensive buying ammo. 7.62x39, 9mm, 38sp, 30/30, 7.62x54, .410 and sometimes .25
