  1. 4 more would get me to an even ten of those mags. Interested in 75 round drum mags?
  2. A new topic to chew on!!! I have been trying to get info from the guy who once had a you tube posting of a successful glock 20 7.62 x 25 conversion. I came across a couple of videos of AK 7.62 x 25 conversions. I think they were build kits. It's one of those nice to have items and i am in no position to have nice to have items right now but a man can still dream. Plus, you never know when the money gods will strike. I think that would be a hoot to have and the ammo. cheap cheap cheap!! anyone have any more info or links to manufacture?
  3. AS posted on glock talk: "guys I think i screwed the pooch on this one. I was able to make contact with the guy on the you tube 7.62 x 25 conversion. He said he Had over 4000 rounds through his 20 no signs of wear on the frame and he was in the process of a 29 conversion. I was hopeful that he would be amiable to either doing the same for me or helping do my own. Went back to send an email and found that he had taken his videos down. i am bummed. I hope to be able to get more info on this project as i think it would ad to the versatility of the glock 20/29. If i can remember some of his co
  4. I sent an email to him as well and i know the guys over at glock talk ten ring may have some interest. we should try to contact him with a possible group buy. Then there are these guys : http://www.cncgunsparts.com/home
  5. check out my post in "how accurate is your saiga" there are a couple of links that discuss various front and rear sights may be helpful.
  6. these two links might help out with your search for info. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=54720&hl=leadslinger&st=0 http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=49838&st=0&p=464353&hl=leadslinger&fromsearch=1entry464353
  7. After some thought i edited a final revision of my response to whats his name. I should know better than to allow the buzzing of gnats get the better of me. Oh well to each his own.
  8. sportsman's guide just emailed an Internet offer on wolf not bad for the 7.62. the offer is better for the wolf .223 $207.00 per thousand i think. I have found that ammoman usually is the best deal shipped.
  9. I apologize. I should take the comments off or change them. But this guy just pushed my button this evening. I don't know why i let myself be pulled down to his level.
  10. I usually keep my cool on these forums but....take a midol and change your manpon. chillax its not our fault your mangina is acting up. What happened? you get bored of sitting around picking your belly button clean for youre lint collection ....Or better yet.... did the fact the youre supply of "enzyte" work and youre still under sized. I will gladly meet in person to discuss the issue face to face. Oh yeah i will bring the step ladder to help you get over your Napoleon complex.
  11. Hmmmm!!!! I haven't had anything like that happen yet with my new tapco g2. Is yours brand spanking new or from and old stock. they did have a recall a few years back something about the sear spring hole not deep enough????? can't quit remember. well keep us informed you don't want it to become too frequent as unexpected bump fire can be dangerous.
  12. I just did some quick viewing of the 22lr ak's. I think i will stay with my tried and true 10/22. man the cost of the GSG and some plastic parts for about a 7 pound lr or the bulky look of the arms corp. i think not. I would rather spend the money on ammo for the 7.62 or the saiga 308 or more 6.5 x 55 ammo or..........you get the picture. I think the 7.62 is the way to go lots of decent ammo good enough to get the job done for a fair prices. Mags (steel) cheap and available. rounds is capable of performing various tasks, plinking, self defense, hunting at ranges out to 300 yards. Wh
  13. i have got the disease bad. I have a s12 762.39 and a .223. I have been yearning for the 308 and know the 22lr. I would almost consider trading my 1911 Swedish Mauser for the .308 but that 6.5 x55 sure is nice.
  14. did you do any polish work on the trigger or did happen with stock well used trigger? I had that happen to and old tapco g2 that i had done some light polish work to it then after sever thousand rounds it became an issue.
  15. don't Romanian have the metal ridge protruding along the front of the mag or is that Yugo mags? what is the manufacture of the 10/22 mags can't tell if they have steel feed lips. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/clips-and-mags.aspx?a=181640 CDNN has these mags stell lined. I might be behind the curve so anyone with any info on whether they are any good or should i just stay with the steel http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ak7630slmosy.html

Resume is like a cuss word. still i am here and trying to start over ..get established to be prepared to care for my mother. She is already beginning to repeat stuff ask the same questions over and over, telling me the same stories repeatedly.

  18. very cool. here is the link hopefully will clear up any questions. Pretty neat stuff. http://www.tannerite.com/
  19. i couldn't tell ya. I would recommend that you just shoot the gun as the trigger will do the work for you after about 1000 rounds it will be exactly what you are looking for. I just barely polished old my trigger with "flitz" and a felt tip of dremmel on low setting according to the two referenced instructions years back. It wasn't until several 1000 rounds that it began to act squirrelly. I can say that the Tapco G2 trigger is a nice trigger out of the box. Remember the Ak trigger is never going to feel like an AR or target trigger. Kind of like the Glock will never be or feel like a 1911
  20. Thats another reason i went to a G2 bone stock trigger. No fuss No muss!!!! i am a better shooter for it, besides bump fire is a waste of good ammo. Nice for shits and giggles every once in a while but not effective shooting.
  21. Following through means holding the trigger to the rear. Did that help? yes. but the whole process affected my accuracy. I do usually follow through with each shot but not as firmly as i felt i had to do with that particular trigger. I guess if i were looking to send rounds down range it wouldn't be much of an issue. I want to see how accurate i can get with this particular set up so i went with a new g2 trigger group and haven't looked back.
  22. sorry for not responding i have been out of the loop for some time moving. My trigger issues were with firm grip and shoulder mount. I would get my slam fire with slow trigger squeeze. the weapon would release two to three round burst. I also found that at home if i held a loose grip firm shoulder mount it would do the same and empty the mag. I had to resort to fast trigger pull and insure that i followed through. I feel that getting tapco trigger and letting the surfaces mate and polish themselves from practice sessions is the best and safest way.
  23. Nah, I don't think WHTPRDBECKPALIN2012FOXOMGMUSLIMS was aware there were any gun-related forums on this board. Sheesh! Stop showing your asses, guys! I agree with you. i wander why a moderator hasn't stepped in to stop this. I thought this forum was better than this.
