  1. The count on the website seemed to go back up sometime today. It's currently back at 25. I wonder how many are left.... I wonder if Mike will let me sign up to by the last one. Also I wonder if these are serial coded I don't think they are. Also for the people saying why get one? Well these might just become collectors items for saiga owners. Honestly I can see these getting ban by the current administration. I think they just look cool too instead of a super long stick mag. Don't get me wrong I'll probably pick up a 12 round mag but I don't consider it much different from my 10
  2. Do you think Mike is working with Obama to get rich? It could be a Obama Mike conspiracy to get the drums to sell super fast!!!
  3. I don't want to alarm anyone, but it looks like there are only 26 20-round MD Arms Drums left. Might be worth picking one up if your on the fence since a hi-cap mag ban seems more then possible in the near future. No, I don't work for mike lol.
  4. "Gunfixers Improved Gas Plug" from MDarms is a 922 compliant part? That is a good thing to know but I don't see it on any 922 part list.
  5. Yes, there are only about 25 left. Get them now or get them possibly never.
  6. Where did you guys get the bags and how much? Also you should make some Saiga 12 decals that would be pretty cool.

Opps double post http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=19536 As I see it if you change anything on your rifle/shotgun it is no longer in the import condition if you have more then 10 non 922 USA parts. As soon as you put in a mag you have changed 3 922 parts to usa made. Most Saiga 12 then have 11 non 922 parts. So you better change something else to get down to 10 non usa parts. Is that clear as mud?
  8. Wow you guys must all have got the different version of saigas then me. I guess mine is version 2 cause mine won't bend at the barrel from a bayonet stabbing something. On mine the blade would break before the barrel would bend. Maybe you guys should send your saiga's back to the factory and they can install the new cool version 2 barrels that I apparently have. Don't feel bad I'm sure they will still look good hanging on your walls. Just be sure not to hold your saiga by the barrel you don't want to bend it they sound pretty delicate. Might want to paint the barrels pink along with some flowe
  9. When is the last time you cleaned your firearm? Send us some pictures if possible this will help us see what is wrong. A video would be great also since I'm not sure were your saying it's binding. There are a lot of people here that should be able to help you we will just need more information. Also this is happening with different shell loads and brands?
  10. What the hell are you stabbing at that is going to bend the front of 12 gauge barrel? Also notice he has a different bayonet. Is that lug welded on?
  11. I noticed that too. I'm pretty sure that they would still send you a 12 guage. They probably just think the pictures are close enough so why take another picture. They should at least steal a picture off the internet.
  12. I think your right on thinking it had been machined out larger for the saiga 12. All the ones I've ever seen online is for .223cal or 7.62x39mm rifles. Unless it says it was edited by Tromix. Tony might know for sure. Hopefully someone on the forum has one and knows 100%
  13. No problem. I find google is actually better then the search function. I googled "clear AGP MD saiga 12" just a helpful tip :-)
  14. Ditto used wolf 9 pellet 00# buck. They use a roll crimp I think its called with an over shot paper patch at the end. As long as your saiga is broken in it works great. I don't know about everyone elses saiga but mine likes everything. I've yet to find anything it doesn't like. If you buy some bulk ammo that doesn't work you can always sell it on gunbroker.
  15. Talking about this one? http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=19420
  16. Well of coarse Wheel if I'm defending myself I don't care if a gun gets scratched. The scratching I'm worried about is that its on so tight when I try to loosen the poly choke I think it might want to spin with it. I think the safest way to take it off is with a padded vice on the bayonet. It seems without a vice that it might leave a ring around the barrel scratch if not careful. Also from my experience it seems that zombies are attracted to scratches on guns for some reason. So I try to keep my gun scratches to a minimum.
  17. Maybe I will have to make a video of me stabbing some stuff for the none believers! It's on so good its hard to get off. Specially with the polychoke. The position of the wrench make it difficult. If shooting some shells threw it and stabbing a sandbag doesn't make it loose what will? Also if you notice without a lug the bayonet aims a few degrees downwards which is way I wasn't worried about any shot hitting it, even though I know shot won't spread that much at that short distance. However with a bayonet lug it would be higher up and might hit something? (Just making cons for a bayone
  18. Nope doesn't need bayonet lug. I've stuck some sandbags. Doesn't wobble at all or shift at all as long as the thread protector/poly choke is on tight. There is no way for it to slide down the barrel the opening on the bayonet isn't big enough unless maybe it was hit by a truck, even then I think the blade would brake before it slide down the barrel.
  19. This is the new Saiga 12 limited edition bayonet! Retails for about $30 This only works with a Saiga 12 with a threaded barrel. The bayonet slips over the threads and stops were the thread stop. You can either put on your thread protector or poly choke in my case and it holds the bayonet firm in place. No alterations to the gun and no gunsmith needed! (Just be sure you don't scratch your barrel.) Works great! I've included pictures below. If you would like to pick one up this is the link where I bought mine. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemDetail.aspx?sku=ARR-035 I think t
  20. Awesome thanks williespeed!
  21. I was told by someone from the MDarms site that 2nd run had shipped when I started this thread so I guess I had inside info. I wasn't able to purchase at the time, but then the next day I saw the purchase button back. So I bought a mag and now it says pending and total $241.72 and I have an order number this was on 1/16/2009. So I was wondering am I 3rd run? Did I make 2nd run? Was the the person from the website wrong? I'm not trying to pressure mike or complain about anything. I'm just confused is all.
  22. According to that chart, I'm at 7 parts (compliant) without my muzzlebrake, and 6 parts (more compliant) with it and if it counts as the attachment. I didn't realize that with a 5 round mag you weren't required to meet 922r. So that opens up 3 parts for me. I don't know how I figured I wasn't compliant, even with those other 3 parts. Hrm. Hey Twinsen who are you trying to convince now ;-)
  23. Maybe more people could actually read the 922r subforum. That link has been in it's own subforum there for some months, now. Buttons and check boxes seem more fun no? I never said anything about buttons and checkboxes, just that the link you want the mods to post has ALREADY BEEN POSTED and is PRESENT IN IT'S OWN STICKY in our 922r section RIGHT FUC***G HERE My fault didn't know there was a Tech Section Subforums. I was just meaning that would be a good link at the top of the saiga 12 forum, but I guess everything has it's place. Thanks again
