    I was having issues with vandals in the alley messing with my cars. The cheapest route I found was the Camera they use to watch things like deer feeders. They sell them at Academy Sports and range from $40 on up. These also record video and are motion activated. I have yet to do this but maybe this is another option you can explore. TYBOY

    RED TAPE It's frustrating to watch but that's what separates us from the savages. We have those checks and balances in place to prevent innocent people from being killed. Unfortunately that red tape cost's us time and lives. If these pilot's are trustworthy enough to fly a 40 million dollar state of the art helicopter (loaded with weapons) they should be competent enough to make decisions like that without going through all those channels for permission to fire.     I was in Chunchon, South Korea working as a contractor for the US ARMY. I felt helpless watching this happen from the other side of the World to my Country. The interesting effects at Camp Page where I was working were NO MORE PROTESTERS. The everyday Protesters that were out at the front gate with their body billboards ( english facing post and korean towards traffic ) were not there.     Billyjoebob, I use Ultrasonic and Electrosonic cleaners at work quite frequently. I use them for Helicopter parts (filters, fuel nozzles, etc.) I would think for your application Isoprophyl Alcohol in the Ultrasonic would be just fine. Just be cautious of the flashpoint when using the heater. Tyboy

    OK ALL, I am not new to abbreviations, but is there a thread for this. LOP, SHTF, FTE, FTF, ETC. I know what some of these mean but where is the INDEX OF ABBREVIATIONS on this forum. Help me Tyboy

    I really hadn't considered a laminate. I looked at some of those and they were a little flashy for me. I really am just looking for a 4X4 of good hardwood for me to cut on and experiment with. Thanks for your input RED

    Hey all, I'd like to build my own Stock and furniture. I have searched online and WOW is that hardwood expensive. Good chunks with fancy grain for $ 300-400. I just want a good hardwood to try and personalize my Saiga. Anyone know of a good source of hardwood for a good price???

    I bought a DPMS 308 and absolutIely love it. I have fired nothing but Federal through it but neverhad a FTE in any of my 5 mags. I recently bought during the Obama Ammo thing a 1000 rounds of Wolf (non brass) and know that even though they changed the coating, I will still have too brush the barrel out good before going back to the close tolerance Federal.

    The guy in the video was a DEA Agent. I say this because I "personally" know some of the people that both defended him (on this incident) and worked with him.

    TO THE MARINE.... My point was that just because someone dresses a certain way doesn't mean that they are that kind of person. When I was in, off time was off time and people out of uniform were totally different looking. I would much rather an 18 year old military kid buy ammo than an unmilitary 18 year old. The responsibilty that these young men and women have in the military, is often overlooked in the civilian sector. (US ARMY 67T 1993-1999)

    My personal mindset on judging people by appearance has changed due to the recent wars. I used to look at these young kids dressed in whatever the latest trends were (punk, goth, gangsta, whatever..) and categorize them as Young Punks. However recently I realized that those "Young Punks" could be Active Military 18 to early 20's with a couple of tours in Iraq under their belt. It really made me think....You just never know

    Nailbomb, Does this 1" pad really make enough difference for the length issue. I don't have gorilla arms or anything, it just seems to need a couple of inches.

    Hey all, I recently restored my Saiga and installed the Tapco Original Style Buttstock. This thing is way too short. I like the looks of it but it,s not very practical in my mind. I know they make larger ones, but I would like to find a ButtPad that would increase the length and pad it a few inches. Anyone know of a pad that will fit it???? TYBOY
