Gunfanatic 221
This ammo was developed to be a direct competitor with the FN 5.7x28 cartage but can be used in a variety of calibers from .45apc to 9mm. This makes it great alternative to the costly P90 and USG pistol. Twinsen 86
I wonder how light they are with that much steel in them, 150 grains for the .45 maybe? And would you need some fancy ramped barrel to fire them?
Gunfanatic 221
According to the website no modifications are necessary to use this ammunition. As for the weight of the penetrator they do not say. They do however say it is 7mm penetrator in the 9x19 as for other calibers I'm not sure. Here is a list of calibers they heave for this bullet. dayanx 1
must be expensive as hell. I can just imagine the Hitlery and Pelosi clones on this one..

Ben Shepherd 0
Won't be long and they'll have a visit from the ATF I think. AP pistol ammo is flat-out illegal by federal law. Sucks, yes. But it is the current law.

But it is the current law. Dud, their not in the U.S. from their web site I think their in Belgum --- therefore not subject to f*cked up Fed. law.
SuAside 2
actually, belgium even forbids hollow points for civi use. as for AP ammo, not sure if there's a particular law, except that 5.7x28 is forbidden BY NAME. either way, i've never heard of these guys. and i'm pretty concerned about the wound channel of the ammo. 5.7 AP ammo tumbles, but i have doubts about these particular VBR penetrators... paprotective 362
I think any steel-core ammo that is 62% or more is considered AP by Federal Guidelines. Stuff is nice though. Getting them to ship to you in the US would be a neat experiment. Might land you in the pokey. Ok. More than likely would.
