jamesavery22 54
Anyone ever see this before? http://www.combathunting.com/AK47_AK74_MAC...zzle_Brake.html The bottom pic looks a little shady. $19.25 and 24mm x 1.5 threads though... Wonder if its actually designed properly.

jamesavery22 54
Isn't that a great price then? Every place I've seen ak-74 style brakes that arent the cheap 14mm threaded ones they are at least $60. I emailed them asking for more pictures but havent heard anything back. I'd take the $20 gamble though
nalioth 405
It is probably not US made.
jamesavery22 54
Are there any US made 74 style brakes other than Krebs? Believe he is still out of stock :\
nalioth 405
Are there any US made 74 style brakes other than Krebs? Believe he is still out of stock :\ Mr Krebs is late to the brake party. http://www.ak-103.com has been selling them longer than krebs also http://www.elkrivertoolanddie has some excellent copies of this brake. Another option is to go over to Gunco.net and contact Hotbarrel. He makes brakes, pistons, all kinds of stuff and is very reasonable. Edited April 3, 2008 by nalioth
jamesavery22 54
Thanks again Nalioth, I saw AK-USA's page before which lead me to RPB USA-> http://www.gunmallusa.com/gunmallusa/prepa...o?storeNumber=1 I don't see any AK-USA products there. Guess I just need to call? Anyone know how much they are charging for the 74 brake?

jamesavery22 54
Is this the brake in your pic? http://dinzagarms.com/brakes_hiders/74brake.html While that is US made it does not have the same functionality as a real 74 brake.

jamesavery22 54
I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a FSC47, anyone hear anything about these past whats on the manufacturers page? http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=57 I saw that Navy87Guy had a J-Tac47 and a 74 style so I bugged him via PM. He said the J-Tac47 was better at controlling muzzle climb. According to the manufacturer the FSC47(DNTC style compensator) has better control than the J-Tac... Just adds the flash hider.
