wolf 9mm/45acp

Thinking about ordering some Wolf in 9mm & 45 ACP. Anyone ran this stuff, if so what were your thoughts.

wolf 9mm works great in my ruger P95, never had much trouble wiht it in my steyr M9 either, but many recommended against using it in that guns so i have only fired abou t100 through it just to make sure it would eat it in an emergency.

 

not tried it in 45.

 

i've read a lot of love it / hate it threads about wolf in the past. Most end up saying it works best with commie block guns that were largely designed to fire steel.

I've ran 1000 rounds of Wolf through my .45, no problems. I switched to S&B a few years ago though.

I fired 50 rounds of .45 in my XD a couple of weekends ago and it worked fine.

I have never had problems with Wolf. Have shot thousands of rounds of it in 9mm, .45, 5.56 etc.

 

Remember that American GIs were issued steel cased .45 in WWII...........

I once bought a Cobray M11 and a case of wolf 9mm steel case. I had problems with rounds getting stuck in the chamber, and once you got them pulled out, the bullet was still stuck inside!!! May have been the weapon thought, I've fired 1000's of rounds of Wolf through AKs with no problems.....

I've put about 150 rounds off wolf .45 through my XD, not a single problem!

My XD45 loves Wolf. The steel cases reload nicely as well. Am up to 10 reloads on these cases.

I had 1000 rounds of the .45 and they shot great out of my 2 1911's and my Glock21.
