Cpt_Kirks 0
Is this a new item made by Tromix, or a modfied Tapco galil part? Now, thanks to Tony's DIY gadget, I have my basic conversion done, and it looks very nice. I still need a new hand guard, front sight and muzzle device. Have to decide which of those I want. BobAsh 582
NOT A TAPCO! lol this is an exclusive Tromix part.
headshot 52
I got one. Waaaaaaay better than Tapco. One thing that could be improved is stepping the tab on the bracket so the handguard sits more evenly. Its not really a big deal though.
jmacken37 4
NOT A TAPCO! lol this is an exclusive Tromix part. Definitely not a TAPCO part. This thing is made in the USA by an artist who happens to be a good friend. Jake

Cpt_Kirks 0
They are made by Lage Mfg, exclusively for Tromix. Tony Cool! The Tapco Galil rail kit will still fit, right?
TonyRumore 1,332
You could probably make the tapco rails work with some dicking around, but the Tromix rail kit is all set up for it. It comes with threaded inserts, drills, hardware, etc. MS Auto Arms has them. Tony

reoiv 1
I saw these in person @Tony's shop and they look and feel like a much higher quality item than the Tapco guards. Edited September 23, 2008 by reoiv

mike12345 18
I ordered the rail kit for the tromix handguard and ended up not using most of it. I just mounted one of the side rails which I cut shorter through the rear slot on the handguard for a sling adaptor. One thing about the tromix handguard, I have broken the front lip where the little metal adaptor go's on two of these handguards already, be careful when you put the handguard on.
