73cj5 1
Not that it is totally feasible, but its just another excuse to shoot it. At 17 yards using 7.5 or 8 shot. 1 1/8 oz shot, is it possible to break a few?? I am pretty competent with my beretta, but its just the norm........ Any info appreciated PS. Still waiting on my stamp.........

Still waiting on my stamp......... It would be doable with a choke. Very hard without. My 19" breaks quite a few at 16yrds but it'd be better with a choke.. I just can't imagine an 8" with no choke doing well.
73cj5 1
Does the Tromix shark brake unscrew? I am not sure if Tony torques these and lock tites or not. Possiblity of swapping a polychoke on to play???
Vultite 57
probably uses a standard crush washer
TonyRumore 1,332
The shark brakes are installed using purple low strength locktite. You can just wrap the brake in a rag and tighten it up in a vice. Then just turn the gun and it will screw right off. Tony
THE_HUNTER 2
One with a Polychoke would be so friggin awesome!
Eric Pate 478
Uhmmm... My 8" gun w/ shark brake shoots skeet just fine. HK sights are a little tricky for trap though.
BobAsh 582
Try it and let us know. I've seen Tony chase a beer can through the air with a shorty...he can hit it 4-5 times before it gets out of range. Edited July 23, 2008 by BobAsh
TonyRumore 1,332
......and that's after I drank the beer(s)
Bayoupiper 738
......and that's after I drank the beer(s) Usually when some one with a beer and a weapon says "Hey y'all! Watch this!" they end up on the nightly news or in the hospital.........

We never say "Hey y'all! Watch this!". We just drink and shoot.
Bayoupiper 738
My bad. It's "Here Bob, hold my beer and watch this!"
BobAsh 582
Nah, we have a little table at the range. I always watch whoever is doing the shooting.

okent 0
......and that's after I drank the beer(s) Yeah, but everyone knows that you da man! I don't know about skeet but I ran my 8" at a shotgun steel challenge and it worked flawlessly. No problems knocking down steel and very instinctive pointer for me. Dylan 0
I like the HK sights put the clay just at the top of the post and pull the trigger that simple. I have never tried clay on a formal range but I hit them just fine with a hand thrower or a Do All thrower just don't let them get that far, don't have the same range for a second shot as a 19" saiga. I also have not tried my polychoke this has just been with the shark break.
