Anyone try an 8" Tromix for Trap Shooting???

Recommended Posts

Not that it is totally feasible, but its just another excuse to shoot it.

At 17 yards using 7.5 or 8 shot. 1 1/8 oz shot, is it possible to break a few??

I am pretty competent with my beretta, but its just the norm........

Any info appreciated

PS. Still waiting on my stamp.........

It would be doable with a choke. Very hard without. My 19" breaks quite a few at 16yrds but it'd be better with a choke.. I just can't imagine an 8" with no choke doing well.

Usually when some one with a beer and a weapon says "Hey y'all! Watch this!" they end up on the nightly news or in the hospital...

We never say "Hey y'all! Watch this!". We just drink and shoot.

......and that's after I drank the beer(s) :smoke:

Yeah, but everyone knows that you da man!

I don't know about skeet but I ran my 8" at a shotgun steel challenge and it worked flawlessly.

No problems knocking down steel and very instinctive pointer for me.

I like the HK sights put the clay just at the top of the post and pull the trigger that simple. I have never tried clay on a formal range but I hit them just fine with a hand thrower or a Do All thrower just don't let them get that far, don't have the same range for a second shot as a 19" saiga. I also have not tried my polychoke this has just been with the shark break.
