Cobra 76 two 2,677
Promag is showing 5 and ten round S-12 mags on their site, as well as 20 round x39 and .223 mags? http://www.promagindustries.com/saiga.asp
Azrial 1,091
Interesting! Competition in the S12 magazine business can only be a good thing for end users. It would be nice to see an evaluation article.
Borsig 0
promag? No thanks, Ive had bad expereince with them in the past... Just saw Scott at the charlotte show yesterday. Hes got a good stock of AGP's for a good price. I bought a couple... But more variety is good i suppose. I will stick with my AGPs and MD20.

Bayoupiper 738
If these are chinese 5rnd mags Promag is selling, could the 10rnd also be chinese copies? Not that I would ever hijack a thread, but could AGP actually do anything if they are?

scoutjoe 276
I'll have to pick one up for jam-clearing practice. +1 I have a clear Pro-mag AK mag....hasn't cycled properly between my 2 aks (haven't tried it in the rpk yet)
dvdivx 0
Well you know if Magpul were making them I'd stock up.
SinistralRifleman 0
Pro-Mag stuff is garbage. You'd think since all they do is rip off other company's stuff, they could at least make stuff that works.
waltham_41 52
I have heard of people that have had promags work, but I had 4 for a Hi Point 995 carbine and none of them ever worked right. Factory mags and the weapon shot 100%
bobotech 3
I have heard of people who have had Promags work for them but I have had terrible luck with one of their Hipoint 995 carbine mags. Terrible. Can be made to work but I don't feel like it. Factory mags and the gun shoots perfectly. I do have one other promag, a clear 30 round 7.62x39 mag that does cycle well but sometimes spreads open by the feed lips so you can't insert it into the AK. I am intrigued though. Their list price is 45 and I wonder if you could get them for 35? If so, I might bite and try one. I do wonder if they would consider making a polymer drum for the 12 similar to their 1911 and 10/22? That would be interesting to see what kind of price point they would enter at and if they would be decent... Edited September 15, 2008 by bobotech
fasdfs 5
A decent price point for unusable garbage is $0, IMHO.
