Smiley_Guy 2
I finally ordered my FCG from Tapco and they're backordered till March! Anybody know where to get 'em?
hugegator 0
DPH Arms might still have them. He sells everything Tapco has cheaper with less for shipping.
Doerdie 0
Blackjack has them....$35.00 http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?...products_id=
Doerdie 0
Whoops...out of stock, 6 to 8 weeks. You can always install the double hook, just an extra bit of filing to the trigger hole, right? Edited January 20, 2005 by Doerdie
Smiley_Guy 2
Is it just that extra notch? I might get that anyway
Cobra 76 two 2,677
I saw Scott from DPH at a gunshow last weekend and he had a pile of them. But there's nothing to going with a double hook instead. Just cut a second notch. That's what I did on my conversion. Some believe the double hooks are smoother. hartzpad 0
I did a double hook on my first Saiga conversion because I thought it was better and I didn't know anything about single hook vs. double hook.. Just took a quick dremel to make an identical slot and with the G2 triggers I always have to file just a little bit around the trigger hole to give it some clearance so that it doesn't rub. Blackjack 1
I've milled several G2 double hook FCG's so they will just drop in the gun with out needing to make any mods to the receiver. I call them a "Universial Double Hook" FCG and sell them for $42.00. I presently have about 15 sets mad up.
glennb 0
Smiley_Guy, I have a modded double hook trigger for another non-Saiga application and the process was easy. I cut the right side hook off with a Dremel, smoothed out the rough edge, and blued the bare metal. I tried the FCG with the modded trigger in my Saiga and it functioned perfectly. Just another option...
zipgun 0
DPH has them. I just ordered a set yesterday. $33 www.dpharms.com Edited January 27, 2005 by zipgun
bobaloo 0
I bought the FSE group from RPB a little while ago, very happy with it. Not a target-rifle trigger but crisp and clean.
Smiley_Guy 2
I got my G2 dbl hook kit last night. Time to knock the dust of the old dremel.
oak 3
Yep me too. Got my double last night. Time to chop.
Wolverine 10,360
Gents, My guess is there has been a run on these as the rifles have been bought up in a hurry and numerous conversions are under way. Distributors will restock after Tapco produces more G2 sets. FSE is good quality as well but I believe it lacks the sleeve that holds the trigger, spring and sear together when installing. It can be purchased for $30 at this site: http://www.rpbusa.com/ak.html (Part #AK-15) I ordered a G2 for $33 from DPH a few days ago and got it today.
